Bromsgrove - Birmingham - Nuneaton - Derby - Manchester - Sheffield
Beta 40 Backup copy...
Trains running now between Birmingham, Derby and Nuneaton.
There is a local Worcester to Birmingham all Stations, this starts south of Stoke Works, I only loaded 4 coaches on and it can make the Lickey ok without bankers.
There is a test freight with a class 8 and 2 bankers, you uncouple these on the move at the top of the incline, they will just sit there ok. It does not go much further untill I get the freight lines down Camp Hill done.
A nice one is the "Down Devonian" starting at Ambergate and runs right through to Stoke Works, calls at Derby, Burton and Birmingham.
A million bits of fine tuning yet, fences need realigning 2010 houses to come out etc...
If you get "failed to load / broken consit etc try " edit" option then "play" it sometimes corrects itself

Many thanks for this update. Had a super time ascending Lickey incline with the 8F and then did Birmingham New St. to Nuneaton. You really do spoil us - well it is Christmas.
Wishing you a happy seasonal break and again many thanks for such a great route and all your time and creative energy and skills.

I am interested in this route but could you provide a list of DLC that it requires?

what is DLC ?
If you mean add ons etc most asset folders are included in route as I try to only use freeware and most assets creators give me permission to bundle their folders with route. No payware at all is used...
It should run "straight out the box" as they say..

I certainly have most of the required (and can remove some of the modern container scenic items), but am stumped with some of your own items,
Jetgriff\Birmingham1959\Stations &
Jetgriff\Chinley\Stations
Where can these be obtained?
Quite intrigued by
Jetgriff\Birmingham1959\Stations\
edit here\Sign_B59_Willington.bin on tile +000415+005714.bin
best regards
Nick
PS I have an earlier version of Chinley V3 (July 17), that includes the other station signs (and a folder "edit here"), but not the new ones. I do not have Birmingham 1959, just Birmingham 2010. Could the assets for these 2 routes also be bundled, as I am sure there will be others who do not have them.

The route 'did run straight of the box' for me, thank you very much indeed .It is going to take me a while to explore the whole route but what I have done is very well constructed particularly in the Birmingham area. Don't know how you guys do it.

seems there is a fault stopping trains entering New Street from Derby... here is the fix...

the EditHere is the folder I use to rename the last station name to the next... I must have left the Willington bin file in there instead of pulling it out into the main folder ... so much to remember.....
some signs came over from Birmingham 1959 that i had already started before merging it.... I will fiddle with the names and put them in the Chinley folder with the rest, in the meantime I usually export both sign folders from Bham 59 and Chinley with the route...
Jetgriff\Birmingham1959\Stations &
Jetgriff\Chinley\Stations
these should come with the route package you must have downloaded a version without these.. I usually include them.. again,, so much to check and remember
I will put up beta 45 with these folders in but not all the assets as you should have them installed by now...
Beta 45 has the New Street approach track fixed for those who were unable to do it and the GWR from Snow Hill to Acocks Green section.

I have been working on the GWR section from Snow Hill to Acocks Green looks ok and trains running.
I fixed the New Street down approach blockage and aged the houses round B'ham a little..
to view this Backup copy (no asset folders so a bit smaller)

Hi
I was just wondering if you still need the Chinley Route for the locomotives and stock,or are they included with this version of the route.

Hi Mike. if you have the stock with the Chinley route and have installed Beta 44 it has most of the asset folders with it.
So if you have the Scot, WD and Crab already, you should be able
after installing Beta 44 then Beta 45, to uninstall Chinley (which is now finished) and Beta 44,
The Utilities program should automatically keep everything used in Beta 45 and later versions.
