Strange Graphics from Class 158 Cab

Last night I was driving the DTG ATW class 158 along the North Wales Coast when I spotted a strange black square in the upper corner of the side window from the cab. It seems to be something in the distance however as near objects can appear in front of the black square which you can see from the above screenshot.

I had never noticed this before and indeed did not notice it at first yesterday when I was in a more built up area, but the blue sky on a Winter's day with all that sea and space in the background really make it stand out. Stick your head out the window or go to the 2nd man's side or an external view and everything is normal. I went back and checked some other scenarios and routes with some other DTG Class 158s and much to my surprise found the same thing. On a dull Autumn day in a cutting or built up area it is not very obvious - until of course you know it is there and can't help but spot it.

However the issue does not seem to exist with the Liverpool to Manchester Class 158.

Anyone else found this, got any ideas what is going on? I tried lots of other cabs (Class 150/156/47/175) and none of those seem to have this feature).

It's there in all the newer class 158s--it's definitely been reported!

Thanks - I will stop worrying about it then and keep my gaze straight ahead !
