They are drainage grids and they are supposed to be Blue- see the picture at Lancaster

1B10 leaves Leeds at 7:08
2U18 leaves Leeds at 7:23

These two services depart from the same platform, and unfortunately 1B10 is behind 2U18 so goes straight into the back of it.

Try switching the start times around Martin, 1B10 to 7:23 and 2U18 to 7:08...they follow the same path to the same portal so that shouldn't change how the scenario looks.

Are we possibly seeing these wee glitches due to a last minute rush to get the latest and greatest AP stock pack in the mix, and things not being fully tested because of the time constraints?

Just downloaded this route and it looks fabulous and incredibly detailed. I live and work in Leeds. I have missing platforms though. I installed the freeware asset packs. I can't think of what else to do to get the platforms? Any Ideas folks?

No, we are seeing these glitches due to being a small team of humans, self-trained in all things TS, who make this stuff in what spare time they have out of full time jobs and busy family lives on the approach to Christmas, trying their hardest to provide the best and most varied experience possible in time for Christmas as a small reward for the loyal group of followers keeping tabs on our work. We neither have a large team for testing, nor do all testers own all rolling stock DLCs either, so in the limited spare time and dates available, mistakes can happen.

So basically then, yes....the team hadn't the time to test comprehensively.
I'm actually quite concerned that you view producing content as a "reward" for users of the game rather than for the pleasure of doing so.

Thank you all for the reassurance. It was one of those things where it catches your eye and you don't know whether you've broken something or not.

Just as general information, Thomson's WCML-Trent Valley also includes an inspection chamber; Just Trains offer two versions of the drainage cover...

You can reward me all you want, I won't be concerned or offended, unlike some!

Unfortunately this has now turned into yet another UKTS stupidly complex route debug thread which when read at face value is just demoralising for the developers, and now includes knocks at them for MINOR errors in a FREEWARE addon.

This is the way UKTS is these days, long gone are the times when it was enjoyable, and it's always the same faces digging deep into stuff and questioning stuff that your average route builder doesn't and doesn't need to consider.

This will be my final post on UKTS.

Goodbye folks.

I am sorry to say that as per Marks post above there has been a slowly growing swell of this as such here, many developers previously on here have been felt better off to leave and it amkes what was once a good, friendly resource, toxic - developers shouldn't need to be fielding questions about their commitment or intentions with things.

With that in mind, I too shall be signing off from here. Whilst my presence may be shown in terms of posting I shall not be responding further to posts. Thanks for the good times and contributions over the years from those who have only sought to progress those finer qualities in the community.

I am extremely saddened to read that two such helpful and active members are fed up to the extent that they are leaving this forum. I haven't been following the posts in this thread but I think it is a very sad way to end the year.

Unfortunately in life it's those that grumble and moan that post the most and not the majority of us who so appreciate what you do.

I would like to wish you both a very Happy New Year.

Hear Hear, well said Graham.

I'm mostly a by stander on this site and am thinking that the loss of two well respected members who through their postings have helped me and I'm sure others new to train simulator is sad indeed.

I haven’t been following this thread as I don't have it, but all posters should respect not the hours, days, or months but the years of work that goes into providing freeware and be tolerant & patient.

Without freeware the TSxxxx would not survive and I plead with the moderators to come down harder on posters who do not respect the position of those that are genuinely trying to make this a good place to be in/on.
Almark & 009 please try to forgive the insensitivity of a few for the sake of the majority.

Cheers John

I agree. An even sadder point to make is that this is not the first, and certainly won't be the last time developers are driven away from UKTrainSim.

This is a very disappointing way to start the new year. I've greatly appreciated the work and effort put in by these two gentlemen. Not only do they produce beautiful work but they spend an enormous amount of their own time doing it, squeezing it into the gaps in already-busy lives. They have been extraordinarily generous, as can be seen over the last couple of weeks.

I really hope they can be encouraged to come back.

From what have spoken to Mark and Matthew the chance of them coming back to here is extremely slim.

My own posting on here is few and far between now.
