Regarding making ones own consist.
I understand a full 12-car set would be DVT-TS-TU-TRSB-TF-TBF-M-M-TBF-TF-TRSB-TU-TS-DVT.
I guess the TBFs would have the brake compartment facing the Motors? But how would the TRSB be oriented? Kitchen towards TF and seating towards TU? Or the other way around?

I like a bargain as much as the next person but in the case of the APT-P, i'm still very content I paid full price on release. It's still remarkable, to me at least.

If you haven't got the APT-P, grab it now! At this discounted price , you will not be disappointed ! I purchased on day 1 at full price and still think it is one of the best bits of DLC around.

Well, after driving a number of scenarios with no issues, I've come up against the no horn problem. On top of that, the lighting switches would not respond to the mouse.

Looking at the scenarios with RW Tools, it appears that it's the Class 370 DTS HUD model that has the problem. The DTS WM version works fine.

I took the plunge and bought this at the reduced price did a quick drive the simple hud version only thing I noticed was the lack of any horn sound, will try again and see if it works in the other version.

The horn only works properly with the Advanced version.

Hi all
That's a very large update for a language that many people won't use. Is there a way to opt out of certain language packs? Some people will be short of space. Or do the language files not take up the whole of the 1.7GB?

So it's a known bug, hopefully it will get fixed soon.

There are 8 references to the word "Advanced" and 5 to HUD.

NONE . . . . . refering to the fact there are TWO types of train. I still have no idea what the differences are.

I DO wish manuals were written by someone who has had to learn about the product being written about..

John,

While I generally agree with you on writing manuals, I do not understand what you mean by "two types of train".

The APT comes in different consists of different lengths.

There is an "advanced mode" but as far as I know, that's just a difference inside the scripting of the train, depending on using the HUD or "expert controls". To be fair, I do indeed not see any way to select which mode the train drives in - so my assumption was that it must somehow derive it from the settings of the sim, or the visibility of the F4 HUD, or perhaps having a controller attached...?

I might be wrong of course!

Cheers,

Very surprised the APT has been discounted so soon after release.

It would have been rude not to buy it, but unfortunately none of the scenarios will load for me.

The loading bar at the bottom does not appear, its at though the programme is waiting for something to happen.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the DLC, but still doesn't work.

Quick drive works fine, so can only assume its a scenario loading issue.

Any ideas anyone ?
