For the speculation on the other loco type included, I'm going with HOST as it would be useful for NWC and Riviera Line scenarios, but 86/7 or 90 could also be seen on the WCML routes too.

I hope it has more functional switches etc. in the cab. opening windows would be nice with external sounds.

Thanks for posting.
It will be nice to have a more up-to-date class 47

Looks interesting and a useful pack. I have a suspicion it will be the 87 as an improved 47 and 87 featured in WCML over Shap. I hope we get the named version of the 47.

So long as the standard class Aircon Mk2s get the right sized windows I'll be happy, as they've loused it up in the Gatwick Express AND the Scotrail 68 add-on thus far where they taller than the FO which appears correct.

The cab looks very good, big improvement on the original.

Wonder if you will be able to see the needles on the dials in the dark this time?

There hasn't been a huge amount of feedback as to what people think about this release.
As its in the current sale, I am tempted to purchase it. Any thoughts ? Is there a "simple" driving option, as the write up says to change ends it is a very detailed procedure ! What do people who have bought it, think of it ?
Cheers

It's ok Derek, standard DtG fare, the only real beef I have with it is the sound level of the aws warnings in the 47/8, way too quiet imo.

I wonder if swapping the AWS Sound dav file from a different loco would cure that problem?

I'm holding out for the Masterkey 47. In the meantime, the 47's with APWL and the scenario pack will do me nicely with the soundpack.

Its a very nice pack Derek the clag from the 47 is really good. What i like even more is the fact you have the actual virtual branding on the products rather than un-branded just a nice little touch i like to have.
Plus way i look at it is if DTG have the license agreement to use the branding that wont come cheap i imagine so its nice to help them cover that costs and hopefully get other agreements from other tocs.

Aren't they 37s?...or am I getting APWL confused with something else?

Sorry but I will stick with the ones I have - Those Mk2 coaches might have nice branding but the shape of the windows and bogies is all wrong.
And along with the AP Class 47 Sound Pack plus this reskin

This pack has nothing of value to me

Yes the locos with APWL are 37s. There is a scenario pack that I think includes a 47 reskin, whether it's of the 'default' or the WCMLoS one I don't know.
