You need to buy ts 2018 to get the north wales route there was a bug (which is now fixed) that meant current owners of ts couldn't buy it again
That's what I assumed, but looking at the product list for TS2018 on Steam, it states:
Buy Train Simulator 2018. Includes 4 items:
Train Simulator,
Train Simulator: DB BR 442 'Talent 2' EMU Add-On,
Train Simulator: Mittenwaldbahn: Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Innsbruck Route Add-On,
Train Simulator: Peninsula Corridor: San Francisco – San Jose Route Add-On
No mention of the North Wales route...

Well, apart from the multiple screenshots above and the descriptions below. Assuming you are looking at the same thing? http://store.steampowered.com/app/24010 ... Simulator/

It does look as though the small part you have quoted has not been changed for some reason.

Certainly looks like it is simply an error with that particular part of the description, there are multiple screenshots of the route now appearing on Steam.

You have to buy TS2018 for NWC it includes the 158/175 & Voyager, Crewe looks pretty good and includes the diesel depot, Basford Hall and the Heritage centre with a nice looking APT ;)

Is £24.99 steep??? jury out I guess but it's a long awaited NWC something to run 40's and Rat's on :)

I suppose it depends what you are comparing it with in terms of value. As it is the same price that new routes normally retail for, I don't really think it's that bad.

So just to confirm, before I jump in and buy TS2018, that North Wales Coastal is included?!

As others have mentioned it’s not listed as being included! And take it, it won’t be available as a separate DLC?

If you buy TS2018 you get the North Wales route which is at the price you normally pay for a route.

My update was 1.3gb. It re-downloaded the Caltrain and Mittenwald routes again that I already owned.

I thought that I read somewhere that the North Wales route was going to be free for owners of TS2017. I must of read wrong. :)

I think NWC doesn't show in the package list, because it shows what DLC items are bundled in the package, and NWC isn't a DLC item it is exclusively included with TS2018 only.

Superb, downloading now!

I thought it would be available as standalone DLC.

Not complaining, £24.99 is fair for a route that I’ve wanted in the sim for a while! And the added bonus of TS2018 anyway.
