before I try various attempts at a remedy, can someone verify if there is a fault with this scenario. Scenario in question APC56EP 6S72 17:17 Warrington - Mossend. Problem being on approach to the second stop, which is Penrith Platform3, I find that I'm being routed to the straight through Platform. Not being diverted to the line to platform three on the Eamont Viaduct Down Line as I suspect is supposed to happen. Have tried a "save" on approach to the viaduct and a "resume", to no avail points do not operate to direct me to Platform3.
This using Medium Graphics setting.

At what time do you arrive?

Nice one, Richard and team, I really like this pack! Finally the class 56 is 'worth' driving again. As said before I agree that the 'overpainted' BR logo on the cabsides is hardly visible and does not spoil the new skins which are great. I would like the sounds to be louder though in the outside view of the 56. They appear to me to be not loud enough especially when compared to the horn which is too loud to my taste. The sounds are best when hanging out the window; really 'massive' as one would expect a 56 to sound. Could this be adjusted in a future update or so? (would I be able to do this myself, and how?)

Cheers,
Jos

DTG currently has the Class 56 discounted at 50% off as part of a weekly deal. Ideal opportunity for people that don’t have it to obtain the 56 now along with this AP pack.

In the Dovetail-store that is, not through Steam. What a nice coicidence :D. A few more interesting offers too, thanks for the heads-up!

Is there something fishy with the loadhaul over shap scenario? It appears to break the laws of physics? A 1000 ton train plus loco going down a 1:125 gradient with 54% throttle and it is slowing down! I think Rich has altered the braking on one or two of the wagons to make it a slog up shap perhaps? :) But curiously 4 miles out of Carlisle going down a 1:130 it suddenly becomes a runaway train with no power on the throttle! Methinks something fishy is going on there!?

I haven't finished this scenario yet Martin. I will let you know if I experience the same 'fishy'ness.

Ha, I'd find it odd if it were different! But then again my puter is in another dimension most the time just ask Gary! :o

Well if it does do that, it's certainly not by my doing! Can't say I found anything unusual during testing.

Hi Paul,
sorry for the delay in answering - Real life had my attention.
You ask " At what time do you arrive?" Well as the HUD wasn't showing any ETA settings, I didn't realise time was a factor. On checking using the build /Scenario edit, saw that it was a timetabled scenario. So realised that it was back to emulating Louis Hamilton leaving the grid and the "Pedal to the metal" thereon type scenario.Once I adopted this, to me , totally unrealistic, procedure, completed the scenario and got " me green ticks".
Thanks for the hint.

Regards JohnT

Hi Rich, as the Americans say "yeah... ok" :D I think I will swap out the wagons and re test, it just seemed very unlikely that would happen in reality is all, loving the grid now, it's actually driveable! :)

I'm having a great time with it, swapped in loads of scenarios and now its given me some motivation to try and make my own scenario. not quite sure how that will work out tho! :-?

And to top it all off, creative rail is releasing a new route "East Midlands Coal" which will be screaming out for the 56's to drag coal. Happy days!! :D

Bought the DTG and the AP Enhancement Pack the other day, and just trying it out for the first time today.

My first impressions are that it is a nicely designed and modified model. However, like others on here that have mentioned it, I feel the internal and external engine sounds are FAR too low ! I have never sat in the cab of a Class 56 and leaned out of the window, but I would imagine the sound of the engine would be far louder than that in the sim.

Is there a way of increasing the sound level for this loco, through its files ?

Also, is anyone in the process of making some new scenarios for it ?

Thanks

Derek
