Re: 3Dzug Rail crane
Indeed euro 14.95 or thereabouts, not surprising given the work involved. link http://www.3dzug.de/Train-Simulator-201 ... a0706cd6d2 Given the interest on the GErman forums, I suspect a few scenarios will be forthcoming soon. From the product page;
Description:
delays in operation - so it is often said tersely when something does not work as it should. But what is behind it? Track building works, broken points, a stuck brake, or maybe even a car out of the rails? However the scenario looks, one thing is certain: There must be a special train ! Therefore,
our tried and tested unit support system is now receiving strong support from the new 3DZUG track crane . This is one of the largest rail cranes used in Germanyand a real heavyweight: he brings more than 100 tons on the scales and can now finally also in the Train Simulator at the place of action in action . At the same time, almost all conceivable scenarios can be simulated: the crane from DB Notfalltechnik is used for damaged rail vehicles , while the crawler and track crane is available for construction work . In the case of the 3DZUG, however, these extraordinary rail vehicles do not come alone , but have a number of accompanying vehicles in their luggage, such as ultra-modern multifunctional containers
(Application-oriented containers - AOC). With these, the crew of the crane has everything necessary on board, from work and workroom to sleeping facilities , lounges, as well as kitchen including refrigerator. All these details were also lovingly implemented by us .
With this crane you get high-quality special vehicles that make your scenarios even more varied and realistic - and by the way, you are the proud owner of the largest and most modern crane available in the Train Simulator, For all those who itching in their fingers to use the crane immediately, we have directly attached 4 exciting tasks .

Re: 3Dzug Rail crane
I've had an email from 3DZug and it states that there are 2 packages available, and this is confirmed when you log into your account. A special vehicles pack at 20.07 EUROS and just the crane pack on its own, at 15.08 EUROS for British customers, and it says that the crane is in the special vehicle pack as well, so, why 2 separate packs, then, surely, everybody wants everything together for the scenarios, there's no way I really want to buy both packs, any ideas please as my German isn't up to scratch these days.

The extra carriages have been released for some years now. I already have them, I only linked to the crane pack to try and avoid confusing people. Google translate (right click on webpage and you should see translate as an option), or simply comparing pictures will tell you what is in each pack.

DBag have three to date that I know off. One is based in Leipzig. Network Rail did have one at couple. Video of one here https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&rct=j ... 8820487790 playing tail end Charlie
Re: 3Dzug Rail crane
Network Rail, Colas, Balfour Beatty and Volkers all operate Kirow 1200s in the UK (and a few of the smaller brothers, the 250 and 810s. Support wagons are different though, these ones may be out of gauge for UK routes.

Re: 3Dzug Rail crane
It would appear that somebody has done a Colas re-skin, as some blurred out pics have been posted on Facebook as a teaser.
