West Somerset Railway Diesel Gala released

Hello all,

I had a break away from the Diesel Gala pack but after some time I decided I should release it as it is, just to see if it was worth the effort or not. If so I may go on to my proposed steam version, or sometime in the future re-create another diesel gala with some more hydraulic stuff.

So it's more visitor's than home fleet, some might sound far fetched like the DEMU but actually I enjoyed giving the 205 a thrashing, and it is an actual preserved one from the Mid Hant's, which 50027 has come from there too for the gala. Home based Class 47 1661 is used as AI, but I've not done a player service with it as I found the physic's rather hopeless.

There is a lot of line side photographer's placed down the line too, I know they all look the same with their short high viz vests on, we need a variety of line side photographer scenery!

Also note anyone doing Minehead to Bishops Lydeard, you will have a 10-15 min layover at Crowcombe Heathfield, this is my error in screwing up the timetable :(
Bishops Lydeard to Minehead is unaffected though.

Anyway any feedback would be appreciated so I can think about what to do in the future

I've downloaded this and have just completed the first scenario.
Apart from changing the Western for the one from the recent Hydraulic pack I must say this was very enjoyable. I particularly liked the additional people that have been added both lineside, as photographers and on a couple of the bridges. I look forward to trying the rest of the scenarios.
Many thanks James for a most enjoyable looking set of scenarios, if the first one is anything to go by.

Regards,

Paul

Thank you!

I would have used the Hydraulic pack only it came out after I finished it. Glad it works with a swap, and I do love the 52 with the AP sounpack, makes it a meaty drive :D
