Talking of this route I'm in Cochem at the mo and noticed that there are single track tunnels not far from the platforms heading towards Bullay, wonder why it wasn't modelled in the route?

Re: ChrisTrains Stadler RS1
Can't answer your question about the tunnels, Martin, but as fot he livery you're asking for... I think the German community is ready to create tons of new liveries, the RS1 is ideal for that and Chris is releasing a repaint pack for it too to make it even easier... so there are good chances this livery will appear at some point.

Re: ChrisTrains Stadler RS1
I think I will join you both, a very interesting unit.
Re: ChrisTrains Stadler RS1
Chris has sent a message to all ChrisTrains newsletter subscribers, the release date is again confirmed, 8am CET (9am CEST) this Friday.
Re: ChrisTrains Stadler RS1
have not been this excited since the release of the 101 Expert Line. This unit is present on most german ts routes... strange, it has taken this long for someone to build it. But I am glad it´s coming in high quality (unlike the 245).
Re: ChrisTrains Stadler RS1
Hi Thomas, would it be too much to ask if you'd be willing to write down all the currently existing TS routes where the unit operates?Thomas887 wrote:have not been this excited since the release of the 101 Expert Line. Re: ChrisTrains Stadler RS1
with all it´s different liferies? I guess it should a no brainer that it will make a good shape on the branchlines of fictional german routes like "Altenburg-Wildau" and "Im Köblitzer Begrland". Also the Rodachtalbahn is mostly fictional but the only "real" part of the route (Hof to Bad Steben) is actually served by the BR 650 in Agilis livery. Schienenbus is working on an extension to Markredwitz, where the 650 also runs. Further Routes would include:jstange wrote:Hi Thomas, would it be too much to ask if you'd be willing to write down all the currently existing TS routes where the unit operates?
- Berlin to Leipzig: Until 2013 the BR 650 in MRB Livery served stopping services from Leipzig to Bielefeld. Up until this day many lines leaving Leipzig and Berlin are served by these units and it is an absolute "must have" for realistic AI.
- Koblenz to Trier (Moselvalley): Runs on the famous branch line from Bullay to Traban Trabach in Rhenius Veniro Livery.
- Konstanz - Villingen: absolute must have for this route! Serves all branch lines and parts of the main lines (Donaueschingen to Villingen). Livery is HLZ.
- Seddin route: it use to run the branch lines in this area in ODEG livery. Usefull for AI purposes.
- Projekt Freiberg: runs on the branch lines, that still exist today. Scenarios would be fictional though, as Projekt Freiberg is the only german heritage route.
- Three Country Corner Route: Runs most services out of Lindau. May also come in usefull for the upcoming south german route by RSSLO.
- Wutachtalbahn: Immendingen to Blumenberg Zollhaus.
There might more places, where it runs as AI and it would not know of the top of my head (maybe munich?). All in all I have been amazed that this vehicle and it´s predecessor the Uerdinger Schienenbus have not built in TS.
Re: ChrisTrains Stadler RS1

Re: ChrisTrains Stadler RS1
I can't say I'm particularly excited by this train but seeing as it's used so widely... I'm sure I'll end up buying it anyway, just like I've ended up buying the FLIRT for scenarios...

Re: ChrisTrains Stadler RS1
Might be on most RB services from Lindau but RE services are still worked by 218's on Double Deck Stock Push/Pull or BR612 Dmu'sThomas887 wrote:- Three Country Corner Route: Runs most services out of Lindau.
A variation of the Uerdinger Schienenbus is available from RSSLOThomas887 wrote:All in all I have been amazed that it´s predecessor the Uerdinger Schienenbus have not built in TS.
