See http://windowsreport.com/where-do-my-sc ... indows-10/, Method 2.Trev123 wrote:Well they don't save there for me.
This from the internet. Says for XP but still works the same for me in Windows 10.
How do you retrieve a print screen?
Method 1 Use Print Screen in Windows XP
Take a full-screen screenshot. Press the Prnt Scrn button on your keyboard to take a screenshot. ...
Take a screen shot of a single window. ...
Open Microsoft Paint. ...
Paste the image into Paint. ...
Save the image.
I have a shortcut on my desktop to this location, so can get there quickly, and transfer the contents to the folders of my choice. I use Paint.net to process them

Somewhat at odds withPrint Screen shortcut was available in previous versions of Windows, but with Windows 8 Microsoft introduced a new shortcut. In Windows 8 we got Windows Key + PrtScn shortcut, and this shortcut made its way to Windows 10.
OK, Trev's using 10, but if we go back to the whole point of this threadbrysonman46 wrote:If you use (Window key)+PrtScrn, it saves them to C:\Users\(your name)\Pictures\Screenshots...........This has worked on my laptop and PC, using Win7.........
Let's not confuse more than we already have done.Bradforth wrote:I am still using Windows 7.

Re: Screen shot
I will just try it to see what happens. Nothing, so I am doing something wrong, I will try again later using a different method. I want to post one on to the forum, nothing in particular.

Re: Screen shot
Pete, some of the suggestions here seem to make the process very complicated. In my experience it's not.
Here's what I do:
Press Ctrl + S to take an in game screenshot.
To view them make sure that you have disabled steam family view then within steam go to View>Screenshots.
If this isn't working then contact Steam support, as your installation must be seriously messed up.
