Yes, I understand that Ash, but my issue is that these simple little errors with trees through stairs and Help points missed placed through railings should be picked up before release ? I should not have to correct these myself.

Yes & I have a 3 Paignton lines too.

Steve

The issues that concern you are not going to be addressed through you continually mentioning them over and over again here. Given that, your options are limited to:

1. Raising your concerns with JT, to see if they are prepared to fix them;
2. Fixing them yourself.

Are these errors noticeable when driving, or do you have to go looking for them?
If it all looks OK from the cab then it's probably been deemed OK.

Its a shame.
This route feels rushed to me.There is a vast difference, I really enjoy JT's Edinboro to Dundee route and nothing really jumps out that is wrong, if the Forth bridge can be reproduced with such detail why cant a footbridge be done without the....you know what.
I have purchased 34 items from JT ...so far
I am not going to go on with this (unless I feel that I have been personally assaulted)

all the Best

5 people haven't noticed the tree through the roof when developing and testing the route. I guess it's not very noticeable, until you see it, and then you cannot unsee it anymore!

(Not arguing it shouldn't be fixed, or that I shouldn't have paid more attention and caught it. But it's one of those things. Not very noticeable, but once spotted keeps sticking out like an eyesore).

And regarding reproduction of individual footbridges. Reproducing major landmarks such as the Forth bridge is essential to getting the route right. But no route can reproduce in correct detail every item, the world wouldn't have any reusable assets in that case, making the resource requirements and time needed prohibitive. You'll have to compromise and find acceptable substitutes for numerous assets, as I'm sure you understand.

Cheers,

The burning question now of course is:

"Is the tree growing through the bridge, or was the bridge built on the tree?"

... or, should the tree be deleted in the editor or just moved 2 metres to one side? How much responsibility does the bridge have in all this?

The answer to the untimate question, of Life, the Universe and Everything, is 42!

To be completely honest, even on your screenshot I could hardly see it. Sorry about that Steve.

But like I said: it's one of those things that once seen cannot be unseen.

It's just a simulation, Steve, and you need to get used to that fact. It's only a representation of what's there in reality. It's not intended to be 100% accurate or to locate every tree or house on the ground, every rivet in a loco, or every nuance of the real world. It' really is just a simulation.

I think you expect too much from a basic "game" style simulator, so I'd invite you to see what else is currently available that could possibly fulfill your needs and expectations.

If, as you say, you're moving on, then good luck.

So why are we tempted with "Pro" controls, photo-realistic cabs and real sounds.Timetabled scenarios & top notch traction & rolling stock ?

I have put this route into the disused siding, I have raised some concerns with it to JT - no reply jet.

I have other sims, Trucks, racing, beamNG and I love VR (via the phone) Have dabbled in Flight Sim but that's in the hanger - not because of any graphics / scenery issues though.
My first choice will always be Train Sim (inc TSW when the scope widens).
And why did they remove 3D off the TV ? got this altra HD lark (and use the TV (50" screen) for TS with a nice Bose sound bar).

And I have just started to learn the electric Guitar

I eagerly await the Cornish Main Line from JT but I will be keeping my thoughts to myself and JT............maybe :D

That's the spirit Steve----you'll end up with one of the most efficient TS installations on the planet if you remove everything that's not to your standards.
