I have tried to use a Cab Mod for the above loco, but to no avail.
The result is a double image of the DT 4Mt cab with distorted views through the windows.
Any one any ideas please, I am at a loss.
Regards,
Tony

Re: Replacement cab for Ivatt 2-6-2T
Ii'd help if you could provide a link for the mod; without seeing what's what nobody can suggest an answer.
Re: Replacement cab for Ivatt 2-6-2T
Hi,
The replacement link for the Ivatt Cab Mod is UKTS 25339
The author is quoted as Digital Trains.
I hope this helps.
Thanks for your attention,
Regards,
Tony

Re: Replacement cab for Ivatt 2-6-2T
The author of the cab is Digital Traction, but the author of the mod is Richard Maxted (maxtedrw)---minor, pedantic point but that's me for you....
It's a pretty old tweak, dated 2010 so if the either the DT cab or Kevin's Ivatt have been updated since it would explain any odd behaviour. Does the DT model feature rain drops on the windows?

Re: Replacement cab for Ivatt 2-6-2T
Hi once again,
There are no raindrops on the windows of the mod when used on the IVatt
The view through the windows is of jumbled up scenery.
There is rain visible through the Cab entrances.

Re: Replacement cab for Ivatt 2-6-2T
It is the good old "wiperpairs" problem, common in older models.
To fix it, do the following:
1. Go to the ivatt_41312.bin file in the Default folder, and open the file in RW_Tools
2. Using Search & Replace, find the following: <cControlContainerBlueprint>
3. on the immediate next line, insert the following code:
4. Save the file (RW_Tools will automatically create a backup of the original)
5. If you have the weathered version, repeat the process for the ivatt_41312_Worn.bin file in the Weathered_version folder
You will of course need the DT > DT_4MT_loco box ticked in the scenario editor's Developer/Product flyout
