Hi all,
these are not new offerings from Simexpress. I've just purchased them only to find they are a repeat of items I purchased 04 -August-16.
The file downloaded is Corail-VU-assises.rar, check that you dont already have that file.

They're brand new coaches alright. You sure you didn't download the wrong file?

John, unfortunately it sounds like you bought the wrong product as the download file is SimExpress-Pack-Corail-VTU.rar for these coaches. For me at least the file for the previous pack is no longer downloadable, hence my guess at what you have done. It may have been my fault as the english link I posted later is now pointing at the VU coaches rather than the VTU. Edit the mods have removed it,thanks. The english page for the VTU has been on and off all day, I had several pages open at once and someone posted the link on another forum leaving me thinking it had lead to the correct page. I have PM'd the author on Railsim.de John, so he is aware of my error, I would suggest dropping him an email unless you are a member there, it should be easy to fix I hope.

Hi Holzroller,
Well to put it bluntly now really confused. Do I understand that the situation was that the English link gave access to the previous offerings only, and the French link the latest offering. If so don't know where I go now as I have already paid for the former, twice over.
I'll EMail them, see if they can offer any solution to this quandary.
Had some fun with this vendor before, i.e double payments. Let's hope their as understanding as they were before.

I've had issues myself with double payments when websites are playing up and accidental double purchases. Most vendors are ok, but some are slow. When I ended up with a double payment to RSSLO it took two weeks to resolve, although they were pleasant enough.

Yes, I've found PayPal drag their feet reimbursing payments But the price we pay I suppose for screwing up their slick payment process.
Have sent an EMail to Simexpress, hope they can figure out what it is all about.

It wasn't a refund it was a credit. Paypal weren't involved.

Just had a look at the coaches, they look really good, think I will get them,I wonder if there is a route starting at Le Harve,as I can remember travelling on a train going to Paris from Le Harve, and the train was made up of those coaches, they were really comfortable to travel in.

That was in the days when P&O ran ferries from Portsmouth, the only bad part of the journey was the gale in the channel.

Oh the English page now seems to be working ok now

Yeah, I paid for the wrong one too, however I hadn't bought anything previously from them so bought the VTU set just! What is the difference between the two? :-?

Saying that, I have just installed the VTU and after dropping the Asset folder in I was asked if I wanted to overwrite the files?!! I'm confused. :-?

Hello all,

for any queries don't hesitate to send a PM via the website: http://www.simexpress.fr/contact/

If you want to have the SNCF logos there is a patch on our website (railsim.fr).

There are no routes from/to Le Havre (yet ?).

Regarding the difference between VU and VTU coaches, the first are corridor whereas the latter are open.

I think the VTU are also slightly wider than the VU from what I have read on the site. The two packs have some common files I think, as probably does the freeware luggage second.
