What's your favourite Expert-Line loco from vR?

Hi,
Just out of curiosity I was wondering what is everyone's favourite Expert-Line loco from virtualRailroads?
The list of loco's is long so I might have forgotten something, and in some cases there are various options/packages that I decided to merge into one entry (such as the various versions of the BR110 and BR140) to keep the list somewhat manageable, even if different versions might have different features or bundles.
I also decided to add the Vossloh G6 to the list although the website doesn't list it under "EL" since it's still quite an advanced model.
I did not include the BR232 / 132 "Ludmilla" since that is not an EL loco for sure.
I hope I didn't miss anything too important.
Since picking just 1 single loco from the list might be difficult I decided to allow for up to 3 choices per user.
My personal favourites are probably the BR151 and BR181, followed by a tie between the BR145 and BR189...

I went for the 103 & 181.2 of the older locos and the 120 for a slightly newer loco, although I like the non EL 120 better.
The 101, 145, 146, 186, 189 are too modern for me (I know the 146 & 186 are not VR)

BR111 and BR120 due to the included Steurwagens (not got the BR101 yet!), BR103 just because I like the locos.

It looks like the BR103 is a clear winner there, of course for such an iconic loco one could hardly expect anything different!
I'm surprised how little enthusiasm there is however for the E40 and the modern loco's.

Well it was always going to be the 103 for me as the fave! But the 151 and 112 and the 156 also, I like driving pretty much all of Vr's products in fact.

I think people look at the 110 & 140 and see basically the same loco, just as much the 112 & 143 are similar.
Detail differences between the locos but is it worth the extra money?
Modern loco almost drive themselves and don't require much skill as driving a loco with Tapchanger control.

True peter, however it will always be down to personal preference, I like the 112 over the 143 purely because I enjoy the driving experience and the operation of the 112/156, however I still enjoy the old tappers too.

Do wish the 143 got an update to bring it up to the modern standard with the startup and everything as the BR243 is great.
Voted for the 181, 103 and 120 though.

The BR112 is a very similar loco and is made to the latest standards - I think it is a good substitute

The startup on the earlier EL locos is not very realistic - you are on a service where you take over en-route but the loco is dead?
How did the inward driver get it there and why did he kill it?
The Startup is ok if the loco is in sidings but not helpful on the mainline.

True - good thing then, that in the newest locos a cold start is optional!

The most popular loco's here, besides the 103, are also some of the more recent models - of older engines however. It seems like late '60s and '70s is the sweet spot for the members of this forum, as the BR103, BR151 and BR181.2 are most popular.
I'm surprised at the relative low popularity of the Vossloh G6, which is quite fun I think, although for me too it didn't make the cut in 3 most popular. I never found many scenarios for it on rail-sim.de either.
I'm also surprised to see that the BR146 didn't get any votes while the BR181.2, which was released later, is in the top-3!
I'm curious what the result will be if I post a similar poll on rail-sim.de
Cheers,

Make sure you have plenty of popcorn if you do that Tim

. The vossloh is a nice little lok, but so are all the others. IIRC I have at least a dozen scenarios for it,if not more.

I wouldn't claim to have encyclopedic knowledge of the German railfreight scene, but from my travels around, the locos I see handling branch line and short distance freight working are slightly larger Bo-Bo locos like the Vossloh G1206 or DE12, the G6 is a little too small to have much utlity apart from yard shunting, which limits it's usefulness.
