Re: Steaming over Beattock
I am close to completing Phase 2. Some scenarios are being generated, to ensure that all pathing and signalling is working OK. Now is the time for feedback on Phase 1, regarding any issues that may have arisen, any anachronisms (too modern buildings, etc), any requests (e.g. additional markers), and so on. This is still a WIP route, so there is ongoing regression.

Re: Steaming over Beattock
Phase 2 is now live on http://www.wotawallysbits.co.uk/steaming-over-beattock. If you have already have Phase 1, then you will need to remove it first, using Railworks\Utilities, or RWTools, or manually through Windows Explorer. There are some additional assets in the Asset Bundle, but there is no need to remove the original pack for Phase 1. Comments and questions welcome
Enjoy

I suggest that you turn off any 3rd party download manager/assistant/accelerator. The zip files do download very quickly from the site without any assistanceDrogba11CFC wrote:Is there a reason why I can't use download accelerator?

Re: Steaming over Beattock
Thanks very much for this latest version.
According to RW_Tools I have all of the requirements and the stock but there are four scenarios whose names start with "Bankers Under Siege" that don't show up anywhere in TS2017 Drive.
They are there in RW_Tools and in TS2017 Build/Scenarios, but aren't anywhere on the lists when I try to find them to run them.
Any help appreciated.
John.

Re: Steaming over Beattock
I will contact the team and find out why they are missing,as I was a tester for the route
Just checked and the instructions on how to iget the the bankers in trouble to work are in the readme that came with the route, make sure you have all the items needed otherwise it will not work.

Re: Steaming over Beattock
I will investigate today. These scenarios were in Phase 1, and no-one seemed to find a problem with them, but with TS you never know! Will report back later.johnbarron wrote:Thanks very much for this latest version.

All the scenarios were in the drive list yesterday evening when I completed one of them with no problems.

All 39 Standard scenarios and the 3 QDs show up in my Drive Menus. I have no idea why you are missing some.johnbarron wrote:Thanks very much for this latest version.

"As for the bankers under siege, yeah I made 3 variants of it. based on nicks original scenarios
the first one uses only the SSS 4MT Enhancement pack and it will therefore not show up in the menue if you don't have the enhancement pack
if you have selected the route in the standard scenarios menu that is one of the sorting issues of Railworks
the second uses the 8F Enhancement Pack 1 for the AI 8Fs,
the third also replaces the 21T Hoppers with the weathered 21T Hoppers from the aforementioned Enhancement pack
I just did the modifications and I fixed the little issue with the train numbers that kept messing up the tasks, original work is by Nick. And it gave us a lot of trouble that scenario!"
I hope that answers your query

Re: Steaming over Beattock
If you are sorting your menu by loco, then you will not find the scenarios, as it does not pick up the fact that it is the 4MT that is the player loco. Sort by route, and all the scenarios appear.

Aha. That's why I couldn't find them! I have now. Thanks for the hint.
Strange that the sorting by loco doesn't find them.

Re: Steaming over Beattock
Really enjoying this route and especially all the varied scenarios provided. However I do have a problem with every scenario that needs water taken on board. Despite trying everything I can think of I cannot get the water columns to work which means I cannot complete any of the scenarios which have this requirement. The loading of coal is no problem. Has anyone else had this problem and did they have a solution.
