Very strange - this was one of the first scenarios I wrote for the route. Never had any problems with the signals. Will run it again later tonight!chrisreb wrote:Brilliant add on thanks!
I am driving a stopping service south and 3 out of every 4 signals are 'red' for no apparent reason meaning lkots of tabbing. Have re installed the signal packs.
Anyone else getting this. It is the 1350 Stopping Service to Carlisle

Re: Steaming over Beattock
Just driven the first part of this scenario (I have switched off the scenery a few miles south of Carstairs as I concentrate on the regression from Law Junction). All signals were clear - see the screenshots in https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B88Ro ... VB2TDhBRTQ. No idea why you should be having this problem.chrisreb wrote:Brilliant add on thanks!

Don't know if I understand this correctly Mike but you do know that there is a BR add-on pack for the original (LMS) Patriot: https://www.justtrains.net/product/br-p ... addon-pack ? Even at a special discount price. One of my favourites, the Patriot and very much at home on this BR 50's-60's Beattock route.michaelhendle wrote:.....the Patriot listed is just a LMS locomotive.
PS: Ah I see now. I guess you meant ike's freeware Patriot.

Just wierd - red signal followed by green signal etc.
When I get chance will run another scenario and see what happens
Re: Steaming over Beattock
Only things missing are signal wires, point rods and water columns at Carlisle station
Well done mate appreciated.

Re: Steaming over Beattock
Why not choose a Quick Drive from Carstairs to Carlisle, using the same/similar stock. Apart from starting at the Up platform rather than 200 metres to the north, everything should be the same.chrisreb wrote:brysonman46 wrote:Just driven the first part of this scenario (I have switched off the scenery a few miles south of Carstairs as I concentrate on the regression from Law Junction). Have considered signal wires and pont rodding, but the extra load on the frame rates would probably be disastrous. The water columns I will consider adding (as most of them to Carstairs we have already added).1crick14a wrote:Only things missing are signal wires, point rods and water columns at Carlisle station

Hi
I was having a look at sheds the Patriots were allocated to and it seems most were in the north, except for a handful at Camden and Willesden, that was in 1957.
Did the rebuilt Royal Scots,Jubilees and Patriots have the same boilers?just wondering,I know Polmadie had some Royal Scots.
I find at Carlisle I already have problems with frame rates,I usually can get away with either high or medium, but at Carlisle,I have to turn it down to low.

Royal Scots had a 2A boilers so did re-built Patriots and a couple of Jubilees were fitted with them as well. :O)michaelhendle wrote:Hi

Same signal issues with another scenario so went back and reinstalled it all again. Glad to say that signals now appear to be working ok.

Well thank goodness for that - I wonder what the underlying problem was!chrisreb wrote:Same signal issues with another scenario so went back and reinstalled it all again. Glad to say that signals now appear to be working ok.

I wouldn't even hazard a guess!! Same files , same procedure. At least I now know a red is really a red so need to stop which is a relief. Had a brilliant time on my second scenario.

Re: Steaming over Beattock
Some of the scenario creators and testers (but not all) are reporting stability problems with the route. In particular when large numbers of AI and statics are used. I would like some feedback from "drivers" regarding any problems encountered. Also, information on frame rates (and places where there may be significant drops). I am hoping to release phase 2 in the next few weeks, so would like to sort out any problems before then.

Re: Steaming over Beattock
Hi
I've been trying 11.08 revised service, but after the banker has coupled up signals cleared, start moving off from Beatock heading for Abington the player loco derails on the points leading from the yard onto the main line speed limit 15mph but I'm only doing 10Mph so speed can't be the problem.
Could the problem be that some of the trucks needed in the scenario are from a certain persons pack, which for a lot of us are unobtainable.

No, I do not have any of those items (or any others from that stable), and i have no trouble with the scenario at all (all 4 parts). The stock is the same for each part, and consists ofmichaelhendle wrote:Hi
