Looks great!

Reminds me of trundling around the same (similar?) area in a 25 or 40 on MSTS :-)

There are scenarios for both of these. Andy is a big fan of the AP ones, but they are a big resource hogger, and can cause crashes if too many are used (as AI) as well as the player. I will PM you shortly

The link I gave is just for Phase 2. (https://www.flickr.com/photos/113166928 ... 8535919094)

and for the previous build (essentially Phase 0), see https://www.flickr.com/photos/113166928 ... 0591570550

Some scenic assets were missed from the asset pack (though they were referenced in the batch file). These are some platform numbers and signal box names. As they do not affect the driving, they are not crucial. They will be included in the "fix" pack in about 2 weeks time once all bugs/errors have been collected and sorted.

I know I am always asking this question regarding updates to routes....

I have the route that was up to date PRIOR to this latest update. So do I need to completely download and reinstall the ENTIRE new version ? Or can I just "copy and paste" the assets from the latest update, into my present version ?

Thanks

You do not need to uninstall the previous version (phase 1), but you DO NEED to install the new version. The route is greatly extended, and additional assets are included. Much easier and quicker to download, and either use RWUtilities, or manually copy/paste the files (Assets, Content, Manuals). You will still need to run the bat file in the Assets folder.

I have all 3 verions of the class 40, I tend to use the AP one as the driven loco, and then the other versions as AI traffic to keep resources down.

A wise move

A number of bugs/omissions have been reported. To sort these, please find a fix at the following link. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B88Ro ... TNNQ3ZPOUE
The zip file contains a rwp archive containing the necessary fixes for bugs/omissions reported so far. Unzip and install in the usual manner. You will need to run the batch file again (I have included a copy in case you had deleted the first one). All signs should now show, and the OHLE at Ditton, Speke and Halton Junction fixed

I would like to add my thanks to all involved, a fantastic effort.

It's also great to see scenarios for the RailRight class 40, which I've just driven to Chester, what a pleasure on this brilliant route. A minor quibble but there is an absence of advanced speed reduction signs and whistle boards, any plans to add these at a later date?

Once again many thanks for bringing this to the community.

Some of you may not be familiar with RWTools, and may wish to swap out the RR Class 40 in favour of the DT Class 40 (which is much less resource hungry). Please find attached links to these scenarios (2 rwp files) where it has been done for you. Install them as usual into the Railworks folder (you may need to say "yes" to overwrites). They have different ID numbers, so will sit side-by-side with the originals. Remember that the DT Class40 pony bogies are fixed to the main bogies, so they struggle going round tight curves. In the scenarios coming from RedBank sidings, you will need to negotiate Footbridge junction at about 5mph! Note that this was fairly prototypical.

All manner of probs with the newest scenarios for the updated route, including a 3-Car Blue DMU completely blocking the eastern exit from Chester Station, multiple "AI collision" warnings, "Broken Consists", you name it !

In addition there appears to be no scenery whatsoever from Chester towards Warrington BQ...just tracks. This cant be right is it ?

I will post an in depth report on the errors I am experiencing, later tonight.

Cheers
