One thing I've noticed in this version (or on my download anyway), within the Assets folder, not all folders/files seem to be present for the new signal boxes and station, I've re-downloaded and they still seem to be missing.

Ditton Junction is missing in the station signs yet the batch file is trying to copy the sign from the included downloaded assets folder. Other examples are

keithmross\WCML2\Scenery\Lights n Signs\LM_Signal_Box_names\Ditton Jct 1\"
keithmross\WCML2\Scenery\Lights n Signs\LM_Signal_Box_names\Ditton Jct 2\"
keithmross\WCML2\Scenery\Lights n Signs\LM_Signal_Box_names\Fidlers Ferry PS\"

None of the above are in the downloaded Assets file, some of the others like Runcorn and Speke Jct are included and showing fine in game

Were these omitted in the uploaded Assets file?
Many thanks.
Oops, somehow an earlier version slipped in. Will send WW an up to date version. Trouble is, having the master copy on my computer, I do not notice such errors!

The missing signal box names and station name are now included in the download (v1.2), available from http://www.wotawallysbits.co.uk/liv-man-br-blue-route.
Many thanks to Wotawally for posting it.

For all future phases we will bundle all files into a single rwp .........then all that will be required is to install the rwp via Utilities, navigate to the Assets Folder and run the bat file. Nick and I navigate our way around these files and folders for our Route day in and day out so it is easy to forget that not everybody has this familiarity - we will keep it simple in future.

Great work guys!! I was thoroughly impressed by the size of this project. See if you can help me out with a problem I am facing at the Manchester Victoria station. I was trying to create a scenario from Manchester Victoria to Liverpool Lime Street, where the player train would have started from the platform 'Victoria P12'. But the due to the track directionality configured at Manchester Victoria, the player train is taking a winding path coming out of Manchester Victoria.

Platform 12 is unidirectional for eastward bound trains (prototypical). There is a small bidirectional track at each end for light engines to leave/join trains. Platform 16 is similar. Trains for Liverpool departed from platforms 11,13,14,or 15.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of this information. I will make changes accordingly.

Descriptions of all the platforms at Man Vic are in the Manual for the original "Liverpool to Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly - BR Blue Period", including directionality.

Platform 12 was signalled for Westbound Trains to arrive from East Jn and depart from anywhere on the platform.

Fair enough Peter, I must have misunderstood Mike's information. At some point, I will rejig that set up for SLANC, before this next phase is ready for publication

All sorted - you can now go west from platform 12. I have used a feather to distinguish between Chat Moss and Bolton lines, as the "cluster" shown in the pickie does not work properly in the sim. This will, of course, only become "active" on release of the next phase.

A question for the route builders, if I may.

I have made a couple of changes, copying in some assets from Creative Rail's 1970/80's routes and re-skinning lights for Warrington Bank Quay. Now then, upon the next release, would I lose these amendments or is it just the extension tiles that will be included on the next release? If it's the whole route, what if I backed up the amended tiles and copied them back into the next release? Would this cause any problems?

In the meantime, keep up the good work, I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying this route. My first route for MSTS was North West England v2 and I so wanted a similar route for TS2xxx and I'm finally going to have it :D

We usually publish each Phase as a new route - you can back up any amended tiles and then copy them into any future release but please bear in mind that this will overwrite any fixes or changes that we may have made to those tiles. Nick has made a track modification at Bank Quay which will be included in the next phase - I started the scenery for the next Phase at least 1 tile away from Bank Quay so you should be ok.

Each phase is posted with complete route tiles/files, under the same GUID. So save any (scenery) tiles that contain any of your modifications. However, do not try to copy in any track tiles, as that will cause a huge crash. If any one wishes to make any assets for the route, whether brand new or a reskin of freeware, then we will be happy to consider it for inclusion, as long as it can be distributed with the route. That precludes anything derived from DLC payware.
