Has anybody out there ever released a class 117 DMU in Regional Railways and Regional Railways Scotrail livery?

I did one based upon the Marketplace NSE DLC. However, this has since been removed from sale and those currently available (the NSR set being one) do not take kindly to the livery, in a mapping sense .

Any chance of releasing your version for the marketplace 117 as I imagine quite a few people have it (myself included ).

I doubt that would be possible, even if Richard were willing, as DTG only have MP items as reskins to existing (and available) models.

I think you misunderstand the question, Richard has the reskin files and could release them, it's just that were it to come out then some people wouldn't be able to use the reskin. Richard's version won't be on the Marketplace, it will just require the item that used to be (and probably AP sounds knowing him all too well )

Chris, the 117s on the Market Place were a full package, not a reskin, and I've yet to see any other items that were/are simply reskins. I imagine that Steam will check that you have the required other DLC before allowing the download/installation of the Market Place items, but once installed they're not dependant on the other DLC.

Matthew, If Richard released the reskins many would be able to use them though---you might as well call for all class37pack01 reskins to be removed from sites, all scenarios using no longer available assets and so on....
Of course it's up to Richard to release or not, but a prominent paragraph on the download page takes care of the need to have a no longer available item issue.

Not so Matthew, I understood your post completely but was just making it clear that I wasn't demanding that he release it, even though I gave reasons why it could be.

The "you may as well..." bit wasn't directed at you specifically, more a *royal* you.....

The Green 117, the original Steam version is still available via some 3rd party 'middle man' websites, whose names escape me at the mo.

I'm away from my TS PC today, so can't check...

But I thought that there was more MP stuff visible through the in game store pages (I.e. More than can be seen in Steam???)

I stand corrected - it was the 121 that I saw on marketplace...

(Was scrolling through looking for something else and "half noticed" the dmu)
