sorry i am not to familiar with AP waggons pack as i dont have any but does this pack apply sounds to the excisiting wagon packs or is it a seperate sound pack for the current waggons or is thsi a whole new set of waggons that is not yet released

The video makes the sounds look appropriate to modern long wheelbase air-braked wagons, but how appropriate are they for the short wheelbase unfitted wagons in some of the DLC packs listed?

There's little chance of being able to record those old school short wheelbase wagons at any sort of speed on non-jointed track these days (non-jointed required for the purpose of sound creation). In my opinion then, this is the closest you're going to get, and I shouldn't have thought they'd be too dis-similiar.

This is a brand new pack. I suspect you are thinking of our old Wagon Sound Pack.

I'm not sure what Steam Sounds Supreme use for their Windcutters Wagon pack but the sound does seem right for older vehicles.

The Sounds in this new pack seem right for modern vehicles - most of which are Disk Braked - and they do have a different sound to the older vehicles.

SSS have their own Steam Era Wagons Sound Pack http://steamsoundssupreme.com/page_sewsp01.html that might better fit older wagons.

It does not add extra sounds but just changes the default wagon sound for the wagons included in the packs
