I'm told it's realistic bogies ! although I can't imagine the Queen putting up with it, but on the Royal Train there is a sound akin to whining cats.
Is it possible to identify the file and replace it with ..... ahem silence or another sound file ?
Cheers purrrr.

I tried the only version I have which was the RSC Class 67 & Royal Train.
I could not hear any cats - maybe I should have used the Class 68

I do not think her majesty is going to be located in the carriage directly behind a 68 that would be for the servants, it would appear John may be more fussy than the Queen?

Do you have the Mk3 sound pack? It sounds to me thats where your sound is coming from, the whining cats sound of the air bags. I would think this would be on the Royal Coaches, it only happens at low speed. I suspect the Royal one has so much sound padding she probably can't hear it anyway

never thought of it as whining cats - they do sound like that though the MK3s, its the air bags working, their valves etc i guess...im sure Liz, phil, charlie etc are not at all bothered by it

Hi,, I held off replying as I was enjoying the humour.
However,, the 6 coaches are from the Class 67 pack02.
After a quick seach, yes I did buy the Armstrong Mk1/2 Coach sound pack APMk1-2SP but never hear this with any other coaches and I did think the Royals were Mk3 ? ? ?
Anyhow,, SWMO doesn't like it (she doesn't like the AWS either) I have to remove it from every scenery, maybe I need to update her too, to Mk4 or something.
So which file sounds like air bags,, so I can replace it with the original.
Thanks for the jokes ! Cheers John

<< I AM the queen
I experimented and found the rake of Royal coaches is MK1 and MK3 (Royal poo on the track ?)
So removed the MK1 and made a train of MK3 only ................... It's still there, never bought a MK3 sound pack.
Your right it is only there at low speed.
Cheers John

Interesting, the Mk1s that came with Western Lines of Scotland make a horrible dragging brake sound at low speed.

I believe the default sounds also have the air bag whine which would explain why it's being heard, even without the sound pack.
