Big up to to you Eddie for finally getting the route released. Didn't know anything about it until I read this thread.
I deleted my install and tried your download. All works fine for me. Then again, I suppose it would. :D

The copied .bin file for the 4th rail shouldn't be seen as a permanent fix, having duplicates with the same internal descriptive field is asking for bother.
The loft tiles need revising to call for the true IOW asset, which thanks to RW Tools isn't as onerous a task as it may seem, and that copied .bin file removed. However, releasing those revised files is something that should be done through the *official" channel--hopefully the route author will have received notification that I'm trying to contact him.

yerkes wrote:Hi Springer6, do you have the four GeoPcDx files (DM, UNDM, Trailer and PView) in ..\Assets\RScott\LondonTransport\RailVehicles\Electric\LTD78DMRefurb\Default\Engine?

Yes, in the above folder I have the .geopcdx files, LTD78DM, LTD78PView, LTDUNDM & LTD78Trailer.

Still no trains showing ?

I think I will have to follow Dr Eddie's advice and re-install all the stock on top of everything else

Everything now appearing as it should but the Signals are a bit weird.

Some of the 2 aspect show both Red and Green at the same time but others show a Red or Green.
The Three aspect signals just show Red/Yellow/Green all the time.

Is there a way to fix them?

Hi folks, and a big thanks to my friend Eddie for getting this rolling. I haven't looked at the route or source files for a few years, so it will take me a few days to get my head around it all again.
All of the bugs I'm reading about here are a result of missing files that should have been part of the whole kit. They exist, but were simply not included by Eddie. No fault of his - he hasn't looked at the files in years either!! We will as a team get back together and fix all this as needed. Again - all this files exist on our team FTP site. We simply have to get them to you with any required instructions.
It *is* possible changes in TS over the last few years have "broken" a few features (example being headlights). We will chase these down as they are discovered and fix it all. And I'll provide some documentation as we originally planned so you can customize train set numbers, destination boards, etc.
One big note: Use the A/D keys to control the train and do NOT pay any attention to the on-screen readouts (Fischer-Price controls). We don't use standard controller values. Pay attention to what the in-cab animations are telling you and the trains will drive exactly as per real life.

Best, Jimi

FWIW here's the control key list (lots to play with!) :

Undoubtedly there is Peter; South West Wales had the same issue on a handful of signals, the hardest bit of the job was spotting which ones were 'iffy' so if you, or anybody else, spots one just make a note of it's ID number, location etc and pass that information on to the route author, which I'm assuming is our new friend DrEddie.
If a moderator is reading this could you please accelerate his ability to send/receive PAs?.....I'm sure he'll be in need of that

I've just re-downloaded the files and now have everything that I'm supposed to. What a stunning route - every bit as god as I'd hoped back in the early days of the Virtual District Line team using MSTS. Great work guys!

The problem with the 2001 Space Odyssey-style monolithic graphic anomalies (see my earlier posts) turned out to be corrupt files - the RSDL Island Line ones again! This is the third time I've had to replace them - no idea why.

Just completed the scenario "D Stock final run". A great scenario that really shows off the route. Lots of AI S7s ( JT S8s ) on the District Line sections and 1973 refurb. deep tunnel stock on the Piccadilly Line sections.

The 1973 stock looks and drives just as well as the D stock also ! A credit to Richard Scott and the whole team.

After downloading/reinstalling everything in the latest zip, I too now have it fully working - thanks to everyone for their help and perseverance.

I am totally gobsmacked by what the creators have achieved - this route is absolutely incredible - the word "superb" is totally inadequate!

I'm now off to learn how to drive a D78... :D

I bet I can make you regret typing that........ :)

I signed up on the board last night, or the night before...recently anyway (just come off night shifts and that makes me more confused than I usually am) and am now away for a couple of days but when I left my membership was still to be approved by a moderator. I'll check it when I get home and of course I'll be happy to help if I can.

A fantastic addition to TS2017, really enjoying this route :D

Playing about in the scenario editor but am having trouble with Signal EN444 (second in tunnel from High Street Kensington towards Earls Court), shows as green but is causing a SPAD.

That signal is usually showing red and asking the controller for a spad gets denied. This was a good way to check your tripclock resetting routine, but it never got fixed. Something else to be done eventually, but signals have taken an inordinate amount of development time to sort. Good news is Jimi our mr fixit is on the case now and more good stuff is on the way now.

Where can one get hold of those S stock trains and are they driveable ?
