They're not really..though are files you create a TS asset from

What are you using to open the archives Steve?...WinRAR doesn't throw up the many errors you're describing.

Hi did everything as mentioned above The route works fine but all of the speed restrictions signs say 0 on them any ideas how to fix this one

Make sure you copied and renamed the track rule correctly, and then check it again---it's very easy to get a simple name change wrong; lost count of the number of times I've used a - instead of a _ in file names.........

I've been following the development of this route since its early MSTS days, and am more than prepared to cut the development team some slack, if what's been published now is all that can currently be done, and I'm fully appreciative of their efforts. I've really enjoyed the District Line this morning.
However, I do wonder why I continue to (I assume) download files that are requirements of the route but that are obviously corrupted:

They may be old assets Ash, that don't play ball with TS 2017. Can you post the lat and long of those locations?

Cracked it now got the route working all the Conductor Rail's got my assets now and my speed restrictions are now working but I noticed that the headlight butten H only controls the tail lights headlights don't work on the D78

Thank you for this, thought there should be some route asset folder.
Now I have some decent track.

I wasn't sure of the exact location so I've re-run the scenario and taken screenshots from as close as possible to the previous ones, whilst noting the co-ordinates:

Location = 51.5151242 - -0.28296

Location = 51.50906 - -0.28819

Location = 51.5040 - -0.28199

I've got missing textures with the route. got most track but no ground textures exerything else appears as it should.

What sort of scenarios are you trying to make the D78 the player train?
I did a Free Roam on the NLL from Richmond and went all the way to Willesdan Jn & back
The max speed of the D78 is only about 40mph - even with the Weak Field Flag raised.
And something else of note -
When using the F3 HUD and keyboard the Brakes are Off at 25%, Shunt is 50%, and the 75 % & 100% are running notches.
0% - normally off is the First step on the brakes.

The route author has realised about the missing folder and it is included in the download.

I'm the stupid sod that forgot about the folder structure. My apologies folks. I can't believe I did this but it was a a spur of the moment decision after sitting on this route for two years and fearing that soon it would be unusable, within a future update of TS.
I've emailed Jimi for support with the missing track and textures and also the issues with the headlights, or lack of them, should I say. You lot are a jolly resourceful bunch of enthusiasts though. I just wish I knew more about how to delve into the deeper workings of TS.
Bear with us , cos it is worth the effort. Don't forget to go into your advance graphic settings and set scenery quality and density to 10. That is how we built the scenery and you won't see everything unless you do that.
