Hi everyone does anybody know which add ons from either just trains of the main steam add ons contain signals with double and triple screens? I'm looking for the stencil indicators that allow you to indicate 2 and 3 letters and I need a TH signal that displays 3 letters on, I'm need that for Birmingham new street.
If anybody can tell me what add ons contain these I would be most grateful cheers, Ian.

I don't think you would find a Signal with triple screens - AFAIK they don't exist in real life.
Why do you need triple screens?

Peter

EDIT spotted this which might answer a question

there are some in Bescot freight yard I have a signal map that I requested from a company called Gioconda at the back it gives you the indication display and some show 3. example UDS, XUF, XDS, etc. These are on the stencil indicator signals.

A Stencil indicator is a small box which you find on signals to indicate a route when going in to slow speed sidings

It is not the same as a Theatre Indicator

I don't remember seeing such a stencil in the game

No, I don't think there have been any 2 digit stencils produced even though they are extremely common on the network. So if a clever person would like to try and create one and the custom scripting(?) that would need to be created then please do! I'm sure it would be welcomed throughout the route building community.

It is shocking that there aren't any I mean all over the uk these double a triple character screen are quite large I might message just trains themselves see if they know I'm sure there has to be at least one add on with them in.

The same stencils, or modern LED versions, are used as OFF or RA indicators at stations.
If one of those exists in the game maybe one could be used for what you want.

In places where the number of routes from a signal is more than stencils could handle the railway used a Theatre Box alongside or above a ground signal

We covered the basics of this in http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... d#p1798525
but to summarise; if you want multiple letters to show in any indicator you need to produce a single texture with those letters:

It's not hard, there's no complicated scripting involved and the game has supported it for years.

Ok right I'll create a texture for the stencil ground signals and the others for what I need then. Cheers for the info and help.
