One look at the route map shows this really is a superb route. Infinite scenario opportunities!

What extra track do you get if you already own the NLL?

Goblin - Gospel Oak to Barking
West London Line (although as "extra") - Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction (but also includes London Victoria to Wandsworth Road)

Also included - Stratford to Barking (useful for electric freight), Ripple Yard and Dagenham Dock (aggregates and ford motor plant - latter not labelled as Ford though ) - Track goes all the way to Rainham.
Something goes here??

Thanks for that Danny! Was just about to say actually it's ok, was just being incredibly lazy! Looking forward to giving it ago when I'm home.

One complaint is the route maps in manual are shown as two separate routes and the line thru Kensington Olympia is mentioned but not on either map.

A combined Route Map with all the routes would have been better,

Just taken the route for a quick spin from Gospel Oak to Barking. On the whole it's a nice little route, but the route is missing cable trunking especially the LU style ones in the Barking area.

The 172 sounds are ok, the gear changes are audible, but it uses the 170 engine sounds. The 172s sound nothing like the 170s. Apart from that the sounds are bearable and certainly not the worst DTG have produced

Just a Q pre-purchase for this please ... The Bristol-Cardiff upgrade to Swansea installs as a totally different route from what I have seen, this meant a separation of scenarios ... Does the GOBLIN version of the NLL install as a different route also ? Just worried that all existing scenarios will be gone ... Unless scenarios can be copied across on both routes ???

Concerning sound, I quote this text from the manual, page 4:
Whilst we do our utmost to reproduce sounds that are accurate and true-to-life, sometimes these sounds may not completely tally with the user’s expectation. Due to the nature of the simulation, it is often not possible to reproduce a completely accurate soundscape for a variety of reasons such as limitations with our current technology and occasional inability to gain meaningful access to the locomotives being created. You should therefore regard the audio reproduction for our locomotives as authentic interpretations rather than perfect recreations.

Installs as a separate route as with South Wales Coastal.

I haven't had any trouble getting the scenarios to work across the two version of SWC - the best way of getting them to work is to copy them across, save them under a different name (using RWTools), then delete the copied scenarios. I believe the sim won't display two copies of the same number scenario.

This route is a great extension to the NLL :)

I had a "moan" about to many London routes, but I take it all back, this is a cracker. ample choice to link scenario's N.S.E.W. with the discount great value.
