I can't believe it...

I've read the Trainsim site thing a few times abouth the GOBLIN/NLL combo, seen it on here etc yet only yesterday I learnt that it thd West London Route was part of the combo! I thought I read something wrong and just searched on YouTube to find someone driving it.

I must be the only person who's just realised the West London Route has been done

Hi All

I wonder if anyone can help a friend of mine...

The other day, having purchased this great route, I located several scenarios for it on the STEAM Workshop pages, and succesfully subscribed to them, and they all seem to work ok. I go to visit my friend today, and he purchases this route. I then help him to find the same scenarios on the workshop page, and we install them on his PC. But all manner of things seem to have happened....only a few of the 7 scenarios show up in the game (and I have checked both career and standard scenarios). and those that do, only have part of the description of the scenario on the page, and not all of it ! Checking the "content" folder on his PC, shows the scenarios to be there.

So why are only SOME of the scenarios that he subscribed to, showing up in the game ? And why are their descriptions incomplete ?

Help !

Thanks

Derek

I already have the NLL route so does this route link up with that and form the complete route or does it download as a completely separate route?

Sounds like the normal delay in fully downloading that is common when subscribing to workshop scenarios. Best to close down TS2017 completely and restart. Downloads only happen when going to the Workshop tab, and can be delayed.I also have had a partial download, but it downloads eventually.

Separate, in the same way that the South Wales Coastal (to Cardiff and then to Swansea) works

It installs separately, but is the full route so in effect it duplicates NLL. Scenarios will port over, though you'll have to amend the service's instructions as many markers are named differently---Platform 1 instead of P1 kind of thing.
So, you can 'mothball' the older NLL route itself if you wish, just don't remove the assets

For some reason, a lot of the standard scenarios I downloaded from the Workshop (and one I created myself) are showing up under "Free Roam". They work perfectly fine, and clearly ARE standard scenarios, but they're showing up in the wrong place.

Open the ScenarioProperties.xml file and check just which class of scenario it's reporting to be.

There is a c2c Class 387/3 available here:

http://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/

I had a couple of requests for one for ai use, though it is driveable in it's own right also :) ,

Excellent, just what I was looking for. Shame the Pantograph does not work when using as a AI. I've also found a class 170 reskinned as a class 357 in the c2c livery in the download library. :)

Going by previous similar offers, probably not short term. I am still getting the offer on the S Bahn addon to Hamburg Lubeck.

Not sure if my inexperience with DLC and TS2017 is to blame here but I bought the NNL & Goblin add-on Assuming that the original NNL activities would be on it, likewise the Class 313 pack I bought has scenarios that don't appear.

Do I have to buy the original NNL too?
