Do we know who they are yet?
I was hoping to earn spotter points for answering this one, but I got ninja'd by Mikesmarty2 wrote:Cheers Mike, I could have googled it but I like to exercise my train sim mates knowledge!
No, you're just spamming this thread praising the developer who hasn't even released a dlc and how many times do you have to say "day one purchase for me" that's just as bad as "take my money"rosschris10 wrote:GatwickSpotting wrote:I can appreciate the excitement Ross, but it is probably best to hold off with such bold statements until the release of the product- as you've always said, you can't judge a product until its out.
sorry Jordi but these trains were excellent and the devs have hit this right on the head. As usual when another Certain Developer (whom shall remain nameless as i am not prmoting there work in another devs threads) appear even when its just a picture the usual crowd appear saying it is the next best thing since slice bread.
So yes i am excited for this and cant wait and i will quite rightly praise the developrs just like that certain developers crowd always does.
Sadly i will not start spammming this thread with the silly shut up and take my money memes

I have heard rumours of who is behind this great company of developers and same names keep appearing however i wouldn't find it right for me or anyone to reveal them. That is down to the individualsNickG wrote:Do we know who they are yet?

As Master Key Simulations have not released any DLC yet how rossschris can saytango4262 wrote:That developer has years of back catalogue to show for themselves, hence why they can show a picture and people automatically know the SOUNDS are going to be good. That developer has worked years to earn that reputation. Why are you even mentioning them in this thread to begin with if you don't want to promote their work in another devs thread?rosschris10 wrote:sorry Jordi but these trains were excellent and the devs have hit this right on the head. when we have seen a picture of the inside of a 460 emu cab and an outside view.?rosschris10 wrote:THEse guys (are) going to Be the best 3rd party developers in this community by far that train looks and sounds absolutely amazing!!!

If I remember correctly they ran over the entire BML in the latter years of their service?31160 wrote: an emu that only ran over the 28 miles or so non stop to and from Gatwick.
Power bogies on the driving coaches for the 460 are located at the cab end, but the motors themselves are located at the rear of the coach, so I'd imagine that the cab would be rather quiet as opposed to the rear seating compartment. However even at that it's probably worth noting that the motors were quite quiet compared to other EMUs (I've traveled on 458s and found the motor coaches to be almost silent aside from ambient running noises).749006 wrote:Although the lead coach was a power car I did not hear any motor sounds or any rail joint sounds.
yeah i was just thinking that as well i am sure they ran from Victoria to Brighton when that new timetable change in cameIrishrailguy wrote:If I remember correctly they ran over the entire BML in the latter years of their service?31160 wrote: an emu that only ran over the 28 miles or so non stop to and from Gatwick.

Ignoring what you see outside the window inside I saw the brake needle move to step 1 and back, I heard the AWS and the horn sounded like a Class 47?![]()
Although the lead coach was a power car I did not hear any motor sounds or any rail joint sounds.
We have seen quite a few models appear in this sim which look great from the outside but the physics and sounds were not up to a good standard.
I will need to see more than just a cab ride with to warrant buying an emu that only ran over the 28 miles or so non stop to and from Gatwick.
