Re: North East Rails (extended)
Hey Joe, nice to hear from you again, hope you can share a scenario or two with all. The E424 - are you aware of any problems moving it -- have had some foreign items before and never got them to move !!!!.
.
Niall - will have a look later about exiting Tyne Yard - have used the 47 close to the shed and have gone all the way to the Staithes in South Shields and to the end of the line in Consett without problems -- do you use the 2D map for route planning ???
.
Cheers
Ken

Thanks!whittaker wrote:Hello NQ Nice to see people getting lost in Tyne Yard complex.
Its not that bad if you brake it down into sections ,up rec ,down rec ,and the main yard in the centre .if your leaving the stabling point i would move forwards into
the reception sidings for northbound traffic ,change ends and and points to head towards the under bridge on the exit from southbound rec ,check all points are set for down slow ,this will put you on the correct track to go south.
But even if you exit on the wrong line you can use these crossovers at birtley.

Happy exploring.
I don't use the 2d map, looking at Tyne Yard gives me a headache!
I've tried changing that crossover at Birtley, couldn't get that to change.............. I'll stick with it!

Re: North East Rails (extended)
Just uploaded a scenario .
King Coal is a trip working starting at Tyne Yard with a run down to the Staiths at Blaydon collecting some empty hoppers on the way. Then returning to Tyne Yard with full hoppers where you will marshall some more wagons into your train for a climb up to consett steel works.
Stock used is all default to the route hopefully.
enjoy

Hi all,
Just tried the "King Coal" scenario. But got a major problem, seems Beeching been here, see attachment.
Noticed I didn't have V1 installed, so removed that using RWTools. Installed the freeware V1 and then re-installed V2. Checked I have all the required FP items including CR Asset pack. So at a loss as to what is missing.
Same result if I boot up the V1 route/ scenario.
Regards JohnT

John
Have just completed the King Coal scenario with no problem whatsoever. No loss of tracks etc.I originally had the V1 installed so just had to install V2 and I then deleted the original route content with all the scenarios..Hope you can sort out as this is a really good route and associated scenarios.Have you checked new route with RW Tools.

Re: North East Rails (extended)
Belux has updated his scenario packs for V2. No doubt tehy will appear here, but if you can't wait they are over on railsim de. The scenarios have new id numbers.

Re: North East Rails (extended)
Missing track is/should be a route issue, not a scenario one, so does the track show in that location in other scenarios, or if you drop into the editor from the main menu and fly to it?J1o2h3n4 wrote:But got a major problem, seems Beeching been here, see attachment.
Re: North East Rails (extended)
Hi Gary,
just gone into the build section. Opened up NERails V1 and irrespective of where I fly. There isn't any railtrack showing.
I'm assuming the same will apply to V2.

Re: North East Rails (extended)
That would be because you don't have that track installed, or where you have it isn't where the game is looking for it........and probably another half dozen reasons we'll save for when we get desperateJ1o2h3n4 wrote:There isn't any railtrack showing.
The route uses track from RSC's Woodhead route, do you have that installed?...and if you have, does the track display properly in that?

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=king+ ... byipNTM%3A
it was created using salvage from the Consett steel works.
Joe
ps Think we will have a go at a heavy oil train next ?

Re: North East Rails (extended)
Hi Gary and Joe,
thanks to your help, I think the problem now resolved.
Checked "The Woodhead Line" as suggested and found, despite having green ticks against several scenarios. That on loading scenario 4E10 Empty Vans, I had missing tracks (see attachment ........1108).
I then used the Steam\ Library\DLC window to uncheck The Woodhead Line tick box installed since Sep 2014. Closed then re-opened Steam and re-checked(Ticked) the box again.
Went and watched tele whilst I had my tea and Steam reloaded the route. Rebooted Railworks, loaded the Woodhhead same scenario as above. Result as per attachment .....4730.
Have not tried NE Rails as yet but have no doubt it will now have track.
Thanks once again to both of you - forum to the rescue.
