Hello Chris,

Just checked out the HUD compatibility and I have the issue you describe when the master key isn't turned in and the reverser is in off. After turning the key and placing the reverser in forward/reverse, everything is alright.

I had the same problem even after turning on the master key and putting the reverser into what appeared to be forward as suggested by Richard. I say "what appeared to be forward" as in fact the 12 o'clock position for the reverser (when using the mouse to turn it) is actually "off". For "forward", the switch needs to be at the 2 o'clock position. If you zoom in on the control itself, you will be able to see what I mean a bit more clearly I'm sure. Putting the reverser in the correct position should sort out your problem.

Hope this helps.

Hi Richard

Thanks for checking and replying. But unfortunately that's not the case for me, no idea why. I'll see about doing a short video to illustrate what I'm experiencing, but it will have to be a little later

I have already tried reinstalling

Chris

Mouse and keyboard, never bother with the f4 hud as it takes up too much room imo.

OK, so I've worked it out, and it may be down to a lack of clear guidelines in the manual ( . . stated cautiously . . :) )

It works fine provided I set the Reverser directly IN THE CAB with the mouse. I was trying to push the Reverser into Forward using the HUD - which worked visibly (and correctly set the train in forward direction), but didn't allow the power lever to operate correctly.

By setting the Reverser directly on the screen, I can now use the HUD power lever to correctly control speed and braking.
