Recent update to the Birmingham 2010 route?

Post by sn5775 »

Hi all,

I'm not sure but I think I noticed that the Birmingham 2010 route had been updated recently but I can't find the download link anywhere?

Was the update removed for some reason?

Many thanks and kind regards.

Hi, sn5775,

There seems to have been a falling out. Try https://www.facebook.com/jetgriffsTSRoutes/ for more info.

Kind regards,

If you had uploaded something and people were asking questions but you were having problems replying what do you do?

From Jeff's Facebook Page
UKTrainSIm is still heavily censoring my messages on the forums making it difficult for me to answer questions quickly.
I find it hard to continue supporting them.
I have withdrawn all my routes.

Firstly I'd ascertain whether my posts were being censored (strictly speaking, edited to remove any offensive portions), or being held back because I was on "moderated posting". If I felt that I was being "moderated" unjustly I'd then take it up with the team responsible for any moderation. Removing any uploads from UKTS is of course up to the uploader, but it's rather pointless without informing the 'customers'---

---is that more bother to the downloaders/potential downloaders than having to wait for a reply to a query? Don't forget that not everybody here uses Facebook.

A definition of 'censor' - examine (a book, film, etc.) officially and suppress unacceptable parts of it.

Without knowing the facts of the situation, it's difficult to pass judgement on who is at fault.

Based on hearsay evidence, that approach meets with a stone wall and no discussion is entered into.

Agreed John, which is why I avoided pointing a finger at any one party.

My point being that at the end of the day, everyone loses out, from the author to the end user and anyone in between. This is not the first time and it wont be the last that this has happened. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Just been and looked at TSim.com and the version available there is V6. On checking my system I have V7.1 installed.
Does anyone know the reason why the latest is not available at TS.Com?
