One of my favourite boyhood memories is watching 60539 Bronzino, on a cold, dark misty night on the way to the local library with my Dad, struggling up the incline at Burley Park, Leeds with smoke and sparks belching out of the chimney. Magic

What do you need to own before purchasing the A2 pack?

Thanks

Also, just a clarification - will this be released on the Train Simulator Marketplace store? I just dint recognise the "Boss man Games" from the first picture.

My apologies for being the spoilsport but Blue Peter has a double chimney and a Multiple Valve Regulator. Only Pearl Diver, Sugar Palm, Happy Knight and Velocity had the same equipment. Bronzino had a double chimney but did not have a MVR. The remaining A2's had single chimneys.

Regards, John.

Yes, this will be released on Steam via the Train Simulator Marketplace store. You will need to own the "LNER Peppercorn Class A2 'Blue Peter' Loco Add-On".

Bossman Games is a new venture. Check out our Facebook Page (apologies if you don't use Facebook - we have no website currently) https://www.facebook.com/BossmanGamesUK/

I'll tell you what I like about this post. It's the amount of factual knowledge that has gone into it......

On the one hand there are currently no Marketplace A2s to compare prices with, and then on the other there's no price contained for this Marketplace pack either.

I wonder if anyone can help, I bought the BMG A2 pack and am impressed with the weathering, however I have a problem when placing into a scenario - I can't seem to get the name/number to appear with the normal editor method, i.e. using the flyout - I change the number to e.g. A36#60527 but it doesn't appear even after saving and restarting the scenario. I haven't located a manual for the pack either.

Any help welcomed.

The entry in the flyout is, for example, 60526b, where the first 5 digits are the loco number, and the letter at the end selects the name (I worked this out by creating a Free Roam, inserting a couple of the locos, and checking their flyouts to see how they were configured)

If you go into the .ap file at Assets\BMG\BRA2Pack01 and drill down to the \Engine folder, you will find a file named A2_numbers.dcsv (which you can drag out on to your desktop) - this contains the full set of valid number/name combinations.

The Store page lists the numbers and names:

I agree, there doesn't appear to be a manual which gives these instructions, which is not a good thing

I purchased the A2 Marketplace add-on and now I am thinking/suggesting that Bossman Games might do the same for Tornado. But please include a lipped chimney instead of that ugly stovepipe!

Thank you Chris, I had missed the letter after the number, I'll give it a try this evening.

Cheers
