'EmptySteamDepot' folder - ??

Post by Juanillo99 »

Hi.
Since the September 16th I have an empty folder in the 'railworks' folder named EmptySteamDepot.
Does anyone know what is its purpose?

Regards.

So...

It's empty...

It's from Steam...

And I suppose you could call a folder a depot.

What's not to like? As the Advertising Standards Agency might say...

Kind regards,

Got it too. I also have a SSS folder in my assets, with a folder named GWR 3500Tender and in that have a Railvehicles Steam folder with a GWR 28XX folder with the usual files in it. Don't know whether it should be there or somewhere else.

Not familiar with British locos, I looked them up and found that the GWR 3500 is a tank loco but in the folder is the 28XX which is a 2-8-0 loco. Anyone else have this SSS folder ?

I think that the GWR 3500 Tender the 3500 refers to how many gallons of water the tender holds.

I didn't either, so I just went and created one so that I can feel part of the crowd.

Perhaps it's a folder used to extract files in to that then get duplicated/moved many times over by a batch to their intended location and thus makes an installer download smaller.

Quote from Steam forums. "It's because whole content of the depot was removed. The folder isn't part of the file depot. Steam client has created the folder in the update.
