Here's proof that DTG can replace selected files within an .ap file. The download is approximately 441 MB in size but the Hamburg-Lubeck .ap file is 1.35 Gb.

Or it could be compressed?

I suppose that's a possibility. However I compressed it with Winzip and it reduced it to about a half of the original size.

Release is anticipated tomorrow. I am HOPING that the existing BR474.3 will be updated to have improved physics and be included with that pack. http://train-simulator.com/mass-transit-metro/
