I do indeed know that location in real life - there is no electrification stub on the Scarborough platform that I recall. Southbound ECML trains stop with their rear just clear of the points.
I had mine parked with the rear just clear of the points - but the absolute rear, the class 91 bounding box, must have been overhanging the switch track by just an inch or two even though it looked past the points and the pantograph was in contact with the wire (although that means nothing to the game). My confusion was even intensified by the fact that selecting FORWARD in the DVT cab made the class 91 fans come on - but that would be driven by the DVT's controls, not actually by standing on electrified track. I haven't tried it but I suspect that if you put a 91/DVT rake on a non-electrified track, you'll be able to put the reverser in F and the 91's fans will come on - but you won't be able to go anywhere.
So the solutions are either to move the train forward a for or two so the front of the DVT is at the top of the ramp on platform 3 - or change the properties of just the first few feet of platform 4 to be electrified.

Following the removal of the VTEC livery for this, am I correct in thinking if I download the pack again from AP site it won't include it? Is there a way to keep the livery for us lucky ones who have it?

Yes, don't re-download the pack, just stick with V1.

If you redownload the pack, you won't lose the VTEC livery if you already have it.

Ok, thanks. hopefully AP are working hard with Virgin to allow it.

Just to confirm, re-downloading and re-installing will never remove anything. Only uninstalling will.

Solution 3 - go in to the route editor and change the track on the short section you are talking about to Electric and problem solved

In another thread (
http://ftp.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php ... 2&start=30) I provided a link to a corrected scenario with the repositioned train:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/v95o486usj8dg ... 29.7z?dl=0
This was part of creating an overall route patch with several fixes to overhead sections on the route (UKTS 36360). Investigation showed that there is no electrification of the track that continues along the platform past the points. In practice, that train would not be in that position in reality, as it had arrived from the north (though the scenario starts here)

So if the Mk2 coaches are updated and I download the latest version, I'll still keep the Virgin logos?

Yes because all a update does is replaces files with the same name it won't remove files it does not match against so the reskins will still. E there if you however do a reinstall of train simulator or delete the files yourself you will loose them

Not in that case seeing as the livery remains but unbranded. Sorry for the confusion. If the livery has been removed altogether, you're fine.
