Ah no I didn't. Hopefully that'll fix the sounds. Thank you Richard for the heads up!

Re: AP Class 91 Enhancement/Sound Pack
How simple/ difficult would it be to retrofit the ECMLS with neutral sections? If i was to make note of the location of them in the scenario, and then duplicate them into the main route, would all other scenarios utilising the 91 as the driven consist then respond to them? I have never really tried the editing side of things so apologies if that is a stupid suggestion.rosschris10 wrote:Yorkiechrs wrote:Neutral Sections. What type of behaviour should I see in neutral sections? Will the line light go out? Will the train fail if I try take power in one? It doesn't really say much in the manual. Thanks
the train may "have these features" but if the route is not equip to have neutral sections then the train wont respond to them as it is not in the script for the route to tell the train when it is going through a neutral section. nice feature to have but as the ECMLS does not have neutral sections worked into the route like WCML Shap it is pretty much useless in the train

Texhnacally they should. Line would need to clone the original route edit it the next transfer the scenarios over more hassle than it is worth TBH so nice feature on the the train but can't be use sadly on the routes it is created for

Are you sure the neutral sections dont work in ECMLS? I thought they did.

Re: AP Class 91 Enhancement/Sound Pack
I too am having major problems driving from the DVT end. DRA is off, reverser is 100%. The traction/brake light comes on as I pull on the throttle lever, but there is zero 'urge'. The funny thing is, it seems to affect some liveries but not others. I haven't done a scientific check of which ones work and which ones don't, but the GNER non-Mallard and East Coast grey definitely don't work for me yet I'm sure I found one this morning that did. I am checking to ensure that I'm using a DVT with the AP suffix.michaelhendle wrote:As usual I need some help to get them moving, I have followed these instructions, 1 turn master key on shift+W 2, press W 3 to put in nuetral 3 cancel AWS,press Q,4 turn off tail lamp Press M turn on ,turn off DRA press y
after all that nothing happens the amps just stay on zero, the panto-graph is up so should be picking up the current
I'm using expert mode F4 HUD

Did/does the default DVT work properly?

Re: AP Class 91 Enhancement/Sound Pack
I have had this problem but it seems to be an occasional fault so that I haven't been able to work out if it's a particular DVT or whatever.
Good luck,

Re: AP Class 91 Enhancement/Sound Pack
Just tried the AP DVT east coast grey with the same problem in quickdrive? Worked in a previous scenario but not QD?
And if I try a default I can't cancel the AWS?
Just spotted the same problem over in the York Peterborough thread that is indeed the same problem, must be the route starting from platform 3 at York?

Why was the current red-white livery of the Virgin Trains taken from the package? Are there license problems? Pity actually - otherwise I would have bought the package.

Well, my 'DVT won't drive' problem is gone! I had parked a rake in York station just where they stand in real life for a southbound departure, and no go. Made the first few yards of the Scarborough platform electrified and all is well! Amazing, after all that tinkering it was a one-minute fix.

Bear in mind that if the train came in from the north, then it could not physically be on any part of the Scarborough platform. I guess if it reversed into Platform 3 it could creep back into Platform 4 (the Scarborough Platform) but photographic evidence suggests there may at best be a "stub" electrified. Do you know it at first hand, and can you throw any light on how trains actually form up here (in real life)?
I can still update my patch if needs be, be it would not be appropriate to "cheat" just to make it easier for people, LOL!

Re: AP Class 91 Enhancement/Sound Pack
As the platforms are Bi-Di at York a train can arrive in P3 from the South and continue towards P4 and Scarborough but not with an electric.chrisonline wrote:Hi Pauljp4712 wrote:Well, my 'DVT won't drive' problem is gone! TPE services and special trains normally use P5 but occasionally P3 or P4 when going towards Scarborough.
