Well that's my first run done to Peterborough, love the enhancements job well done. Now the London to Peterborough line is complete great sounds for the 91 and a class 313 for local services. Now I have a problem I wont more enhancement packs, but still not had much of a play with 313 yet and now wont to play with the 91. I will leave that up to AP how much time I get to play with these before something else comes along.

Just a quickie for anybody having problems. On first attempt Keys [W] [A] and [D] didn't function albeit movement with the mouse on the F4 HUD worked. [A] used with the mouse appeared to work as a notched throttle and if key [A] was pressed, the throttle was immediately reduced to zero. After shutting down Railworks and just prior to a later re-start, I ran a desktop Blueprints removal tool. This cured all the above mentioned problems.
Just one query, any reason why the master key is shown in the OFF position in the DVT Cab? Even though it's not necessary to turn it on, only discovered that after much scrutiny of the manual.

This is due to a limitation of the core model which meant we could only make the master key active on the class 91.

Richard, on your visits to Bounds Green depot, did you ever find out if the speed set function is used in normal service? I know on the Pendolino's they don't use it due to the uncomfortable ride it gives.

Some drivers do some don't. Newer ones are the ones that mostly use it I believe.

It isn't necessary, when you see missing stock press F2 than save or cancel to play normally
Yes it is, the scenario may not work properly. Example, you maybe stopped at a red signal waiting for an AI train to come which is missing, so you well sit there forever.

Shouldn't the traction brake light change colour when the traction brakes are applied which by the way don't seem very powerful. Is that the way they are meant to be ? and you use the train brake with them ?

On the whole I agree Trev, F2 is NOT an answer but a diagnostic tool. However, if the scenario is loaded without the missing AI service you wouldn't be held at a signal waiting for it would you?
You'd be more likely to suffer if an AI service (ostensibly deleted by running with F2 employed) was one used to clear/set a path for the player train to follow unhindered, or if the missing service was to force particular timings.

You do not use the Electric Braking separately on the loco because there is no control to do it.
The separate handle to apply the loco brakes is for running light loco and for holding the train with it's brakes off - it only a loco Straight AIr Brake.

Like on other UK AC Electrics as the Brake pipe pressure is reduced the locos rheostatic brake is blended in to take over from the brake shoes.

European locos have separate controls over the locos Electric Braking - only the Class 76 & 77 has this in the UK.

No No No ! The Train Brake (with Rheo) should always be used, even Light Loco. Once the Rheo fades the Air Brake compensates. The Direct or Straight Air Brake is for very low speed moves ie coupling and holding a Train.

Ok, I stand corrected - things have changed from when I my job included riding on earlier AC electrics.

Progress ?
The Rheo bleed off is set to 30mph. Unlike other AC Locos the Class 91 has a set of Batteries (Field Battery) to power the Rheo, the overhead supply does not feed the Rheo!

The enhancements are faultless, my system however isn't as good, and the scenarios are a little resource heavy to the point they won't load and I just get a memory dump. Any hints as to which services I could delete? Or is there a sure way of figuring out which will affect the scenario's functionality and which wont. Thanks.

Yes I have been held at a red waiting for a missing AI to pass. I solved the problem by purchasing the missing AI. I wouldn't of mentioned it if I hadn't experienced that issue.

What I have done is to change the 313 with RW Tools and replaced them with a 317&using a DP simulations 317 repaint using a blue door version
