New Opening Screens

What I mean by menus is with the new background image it makes the screen appear more brighter and easy to see if that makes sense rather than dark and gloomy

The only change I've seen after the upgrade from TS2016 to TS2017 is that the icon on my desktop has changed to a globe. There is no change in the software that I can see. The routes and scenarios work as before as does the Editor.

To get your desktop icon back, go to your Steam library page and right click on Trainsimulator then select create desktop shortcut.

Ok I jest, but it was an Oh? moment

I took my trusty 4MT(T) with 3 coaches on tow for a run from Hamburg to Lubeck and I went "wow, has the physics been changed as I'm now doing over 90 and I had struggled to get the little tank over 60 before ... then it dawned on me... km/h instead of MPH Doh!"

Hi all,
A little bit surprised that some members are complaining about the splash screen\ menu colour etc, surely its how TS 2017 performs that's the most important bit, how long do you look at the splash screen etc ?
