I have not yet purchased this route - is it worth getting.
There were reports of some sections being a bit bland?
And not sure about the track.

Like any route it has it's issues but for the money it's an absolute bargain. Get it.

Like you I have been holding off getting the route because I have read about some issues but 40% off (nearly half price) is a no brainer for me and then you can get the add on too for almost the same price so in my book its win win :D

Has anyone replaced the tracks on this route with something different- like DBTracks?

And how easy or not would it be?

Thanks

Hi
Just had a look at Just Trains site there no mention of it being 40% off, it's showing the full price,so I will leave it for the time being,as there are other routes and items of stock I want to buy in the ear future.

It is a newsletter subscribers discount, so the code is contained in the email I think.

I have and it's certainly not hard. Just like any other track swap you would do, download the DBTracks, replace the Kuju' ones and point the Tracks.bin to the new file. However the game will start to use more ressources when you use DBTracks, so I've only replaced the JT "clean track" in Tracks.bin used on the main line. Yards and depots still use the default JT dark track.

It's no big secret, use the code 'WESTERN' at the checkout.

How easy is the changing of the track in the Tracks.bin file - something I have not tried.

Don't think you should of posted this. I posted a email code once which upset a few people and got deleted.
