I've noticed that the contrast (or perhaps alpha) when playing TS2016 with a Nvidia Geforce 760 is high, but screen shots viewed from Windows have normal contrast and visibly look different (and better). I don't get this on my other PC with an AMD graphics card.
Does anyone else get this and if so what's the solution?

Have you tried adjusting the brightness, contrast, gamma, and/or digital vibrance in the NVidia Control panel, by default they are set to "other applications control colour settings".

Yes, by altering them changes the desktop display. but has no effect on TS2016.peterfhayes wrote:IB

I definitely see an effect in TS (Colour and brightness wise) when changing those settings.
Aah the vagaries of computers.

Re: High Contrast/Gamma on Nvidia Cards?
Hue is the only thing on the Nvidia control panel that I can force to change in TS2016. However, increasing brightness in TS2016 graphical controls seems to have the effect of reducing contrast, which is what I'm after. Dynamic clouds may also have an effect, but I need to experiment more to be sure.
