Excellent , thanks for posting . St. Moritz-Tirano is about half of the old Albula freeware route (Tirano-St Moritz-Rothenbrunnen { 3 stations beyond Thusis} ). The old route seems pretty authentic on this bit. To run through the streets of Tirano with the traffic is strange and one heck of a climb out of Tirano up to Ospizio Bernina.

Re: Albula line from DTG/Thomson
Just been looking at the RHB and they have got some really smart 2 and 4 car new Emu's,it would be nice if some could make one of their heritage crocodiles.
When I went to Switzerland we stayed just outside Klosters, the hotel was near the river Rhine.mind you it more a stream there.

The line thru Klosters is the one that SimTrain-CH are making
http://www.simtrain.ch/pi/Heidi-Express-TS2012-2015.htm
including the new Allegra Emu's
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhaetian_Railway_ABe_8/12
But the route is expensive

Hi Peter
I've just had a look at the video it definitely looks good especially the Emu ,but at 54.00 puts it out of my price range, the only way I could afford it would be ina sale.
That's the one thing I'm worried about the TSW sim is the price which I've noticed in all the publicity no mention of the price

It's still WIP, but I sincerely hope that they improve the front textures of the EMU, not sure about the shape either, for the rest as an owner of SBB1 I will reserve judgement until the release candidate is ready. If you are interested in SBB1 3DZug also sell it so might be worth watching for a sale there as well.

A user on railsim de has been in contact with Thomson and has been told that there will be an RHB rolling stock expansion pack, details will appear on the train simulator page in early October.

Re: Albula line from DTG/Thomson
Thanks for that, does suit better than the 760mm one I was using! Even though the scenario i have made runs from Bever to St Moritz too! I used a TU29 shunter to bring the coaches to the platform and drop them off.749006 wrote:Have you seen the CP Mallet locos and the HSB coaches on RailSim.de - might be suitable for the line

Word on railsim de is also that more RHB routes are in the pipeline from Thomson, but obviously this will take a while.

Well that would be cool and I'd certainly be interested.holzroller wrote:Word on railsim de is also that more RHB routes are in the pipeline from Thomson, but obviously this will take a while.
Chur to Disentis and further, going through the Rheinslucht between Chur & Ilanz, that would be my personal favourite...
