Re: Steam Work Shop
Has anything changed? Is it now possible to upload routes that require third party content?

You would, they have posted that the garbled text is a valve issue and valve are looking into it.

If you mean this scenario:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =724846399, named "22:00 Leicester-Paignton", it's a very nice and well-done scenario with a good amount of AI traffic. It also makes good use of Gordon Mack's LMS P3 coaches, nice to see them used in a workshop scenario.
Various other pieces of DLC are also required, amongst which the retired GWR King.
I had trouble finding it initially but eventually found it under the Free Roam section.
(Just why DTG persists in splitting the scenarios over 3 tabs remains beyond me... It just makes things more complicated).
Cheers,

I doubt anything is "fixed" yet. They were TESTING a patch, so unlikely that it is already implemented, I'm sure they've gone away to review results and maybe make some tweaks before a formal update

Re: Steam Work Shop
I have the King, that's not the issue. In fact I have all the required DLC. It's just that TS workshop menu didn't think that I do.michaelhendle wrote:Hi Tim

And it also thinks that the Riviera in the 50s is a retired DLC....
I guess we might be seeing some more patches coming...

Re: Steam Work Shop
There was an issue that limitied workshop uploads to just 200 MB - which has since been removed.chrisonline wrote:I doubt anything is "fixed" yet. Examples -
North Jersey Coast & New Haven (no longer needs an extra download for terrain) - 217MB
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =594382812
Hamburg to Lubeck and Hannover (wasn't able to upload this previously ) - 277 MB
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =598692144
Something goes here??

Lübeck - Hamburg - Hannover route? Hurray! Thanks!danny3 wrote:There was an issue that limitied workshop uploads to just 200 MB - which has since been removed.chrisonline wrote:I doubt anything is "fixed" yet. (Now if only there would be a route leaving Hamburg station from the other side so it can actually be used as a through-going station.... !)

Re: Steam Work Shop
One thing that I have noticed is that the display of the "Workshop" list of subscriptions within the game is now significantly faster. Previously, on my system, it could take minutes to slowly plod through my subscribed items, and it did that every single time you went to the Workshop tab, and every single time something got updated. The building of the subscription list now only takes a few seconds. That is a MAJOR improvement in my view

Re: Steam Work Shop
Yes I have noticed that too. Displaying this list used to really take ages, now it's merely few minutes.
Thanks, DTG!
