Hi all,
Just downloaded and installed the update, for me the scenario's with the class 90 ran worse.
The GEML route scenario 1po6 0:700 London Liverpool St to Norwich froze after about ten minutes, this has never happened to me before any route\scenario, also tile load stutter increased which I got very little of this problem before.
I have a backup of the original folder so I have copied this back, the above scenario now runs fine and tile load stutter as been now virtually eliminated and everything is back to normal.
I installed the update over the original installation is this correct?
My original folder is 2.7Gb the new update folder was 2.1Gb.
Regards,
Pete.

I am the same mine stutters really badly as well now and I am getting micro freezes. I downloaded a fresh download of the class 90 and the extra stock packs and overwrite everything tried again still not working as it was before. Hope AP are able to resolve this as I do enjoy the class 90. I am a great believer in that if something is not broke then leave it alone :)

That sounds like a scenario using the GEML Class 90? That pack has yet to be updated so your findings above are purely coincidental. The simulator will often run better the second time round as the files used are loaded to the RAM and able to be more quickly accessed. Or something like that anyway... It's why the sim is slower to load the first time you load it, after a fresh start of the PC.

So it's fair to view it as an interim solution until the other locos are similarly treated?

Perhaps an interim solution if you've got the Steam Class 90 as well, but otherwise I can't see anything interim about it.

It's certainly interim with regards to the GEML route.

Hi,
No I tried several scenario's before I decided that something was wrong including running the same scenario's, that the update was not successful on my setup.
Thank goodness for my backup of the original folder, in fact I have a complete backup of my Steam\TS program.
I always ensure I have a get out of jail card before making any changes.

Pete.

I don't use Facebook, though I will admit to knowing very little about quantum physics---I ask my dear lady about that sort of stuff.
