Fair enough, now I know it's a general problem I'll get to work fixing it. Expect a patch in the next few days.

Nice shot Marcus, you could mistake it for real.

I have added them myself to make the stations work.
I've got Churston and Kingwear platform passenger management working nicely, they get on and off the train as they should do, however Brixham is another kettle of fish and I'm not sure how to go about this one.

Brixham is a short platform, it can take only 3 coaches. In the centre of the platform is a set of points. Platform markers will not work if they span a set of points so what I had previously done was split the platform marker in two and had one marker on one side of the points and the second marker on the other side of the points. That worked for setting a destination but it does not work for loading/unloading passengers. I found that usually only the last coach (in the down direction) would open its doors, the other two will not. There is no way I can get the centre coach to open its doors as its spanning the points and there is no platform marker in that location.

Now that I have explained the situation I would like to know either how you may have dealt with the situation with your own invis platform adaptations, or failing that knowing what your preference would be for setting up the unloading/loading passengers?

No time to mess around. I sort of fixed the Brixham issue by first changing the "engine escape siding" from a platform to a siding marker although the platform is beside it. Now there is only a single platform marker and less confusing for the dispatcher. This enables the train to pull into the station and if the loco straddles the points, the carriage next to the engine will load and unload passengers. It looks o.k, but if its a long train and needs the full length of the platform they wont unload, but there gain, the loco wont be able to escape either so I don't think that will happen too often.

An upgrade of the route with these and another mod to ver 1.3 is pending.

I think the longest passenger trains, in later years of the branch would have been a couple of autocoaches with a 14xx in the middle. I have seen old photos where a van or open coal wagon and brake may have been added..
(Lovely route by the way)

Glorious Devon Exeter to Plymouth 1958 is now updated to ver1.3.

Release notes are:

1) Kingswear, Churston and Brixham platforms are now populated and will load/unload passengers. *note: Brixham is a short platform with a set of points by the centre of the platform. In order to load/unload the engine must straddle the points and the carriage next to the engine will then load/unload. A long train to the end of the platform cannot load/unload but this would have been a rare event in real life also.

2) A situation where RW allocated a number "1" to detail levels on random scenic items, signal post, houses, vegetation etc. rendering them invisible even at the "Highest" detail level setting has been corrected. This problem was global in nature over the whole route ( and also on many other routes). Now players should see more scenery and some of those missing signal post and TPO lineside changes should be visible.
