Is there a drivable DBSO out there? I know there are some DBSOs but not sure if you can sit in the cab and drive the train with them, like you can with the AP/Waggonz Mk3 DVT for example.

Yes, the reskins available at https://www.bluecode.org.uk/downloads/c ... ages/dbso/ allow you to drive them, as long as you have the class 421 installed (http://store.steampowered.com/app/65228/)
If you don't have the 421 there's no reason why you couldn't use something else; the class 422 for example.

It's not a *perfect* cab view:



but works well enough for most.

I originally posted this message about not being able to get the driveable DBSO to work, I found out I had selected the Southern 421 in the tickbox, not the BR one so solved that one
I do have another question though. I have tried using the WCML Over Shap class 47 with the DBSO but it has a problem. With the 47 leading as soon as you apply power the train takes off and keeps accelerating even if you shut off! This has so far only happened with this 47, is there a reason for this? If you uncouple the DBSO from the train the 47 then drives normally. The orignial Kuju 47 has no problems. I am keen to use the Shap 47 as I want to run at 100mph on a Scotrail push pull set and I don't think the Kuju one will do it without modifying the files. Not sure if it makes any difference but the exact 47 I am using is the ETH Large logo reskin off the DP Simulations site.

I wonder if your problem is due to the Shap 47 being heavily scripted and having quite different driving behaviour compared to the old Kuju one.

I would almost guarantee that that is the problem.

Thanks both. I will abandon the Blue and Grey set for this reason and also because the Blue and Grey DBSO is the only one that the patch doesn't make drivable. I have got the Scotrail set up and running so will settle for that.

You'll probably need to copy and edit a *working* .bin file from one of the other reskins for the Blue-Grey DBSO.
Edit the displayed name, path to the numbering list (.dcsv) if needed, the name and RSTXT values andthe path to the .GeoPcDx---a fairly simple job really. If you need better instructions just ask.

Cheers. I think I'll leave that for now. It took me about 3 hours to get the DBSO's to work at all so I'll quit while I'm winning
