Well the update hasn't addressed the serious issue concerning the heavily scripted tgv's, kills my pc when only one goes past! Still Kuju heaven too.

Update =Improvement ?
Hmmm........... The cab view in my opinion is now all wrong. The point of view is too close to the windscreen so that you can't see all of the controls at once ( necessary with this complicated loco). You could always zoom forwards before to be more "realistic" if you wished, but now you can't zoom back.
I don't know if frame rates have been improved , but the scenery is now even more sparse and MSTS like. I still have the the original installer, so I might try to revert back, at least to the old cab views.
There is an SNCF branding pack for some of the locos and stations here
http://www.railsim-fr.com/forum/index.p ... owfile=998 which of course you have to reinstall after this "update".

smarty,
To get better performance, it might be worth trying different rolling stock for AI ( and maybe even driven ) consists.
I have had quite good performance by using the TGVs from pml3 and the excellent Duplex TGV also from pml3. The DTG TGV Duplex also works as AI, but it's DTG TVM system will not give you any in cab signals with this "Henrion and terlor" TVM equipped route.
There is also a static TGV Duplex set from pml3 that is kind to frame rates for static consists. The static freight consists from the Hambourg-Hanover are also useful for filling yards.
(Duplex TGV passenger stock can be quite protypical on this route)
I have used all the above to get quite good results on AHS ( better than the default scenarios at any rate), even on my creaky old PC.

Strange, I tried the duplex from DtG in a quick drive and TVM was functional!

Very strange indeed !
I have just tried quick drives with 3 trains from St Pierre de Corps north to Vendome. Thus each time moving from an non TVM to a TVM section of the route.
The first two were the DTG TGV Duplex and then the DTG Class 395 javelin from the London to Faversham, as these are currently the only two equipped with DTG TVM signals ( to the best of my knowledge).
Neither consist would pick up the TVM signals where they start north of St P de C. ( TVM was enabled on the Duplex, automatic on the 395). So I was driving without signals of any kind.
I think that the only routes where DTG TVM signals work are the L-F , the M-A and the excellent freeware LGV Nord ( Pas de Calais ).
This did not surprise me as the part designer of the AHS TVM signals Monsieur "Henrion" assured me that the "henrion et terlor" and the "DTG" TVM signals are
not compatible. Although he has stated that it may be possible ( but difficult ) to make them compatible in the future.
Could it be possible that you in-advertently selected the pml3 duplex ( listed as "TGV Duplex" in my quick drive menu) and not the DTG version ( listed as "SNCF TGV r Duplex" in my menu ) ? (The pml3 has an analogue speedo , the DTG has a digital speedo).
If it was definately the DTG version, could you explain how you got it to work ? This would be useful as the DTG is a nicer looking model whereas the pml3 is more complex and far more realistic to drive.
The third consist in my test was the Eurostar 374 ( R Fletcher repaint of the RSC ICE 3m ) The excellent LZB ( activated by ctrl+shift+ numpad plus and NOT ctrl+numpad plus as it states in the manual ) works perfectly on both DTG and "herion et terlor" TVM equipped routes. Although I don't know whether these Seimens Eurostars currently run on the Paris -Tours route ?
Incidently, in my opinion, the AHS route looks much better ( still very MSTS like though) if you use the Autumn textures which are a lot more realistic than the garish Summer and Spring versions.

Wasn't the Pml one as that is too complex for this old brain! Now when I activated the TVM on DtG's duplex the speed display worked and gave the correct line speed and notifications. CTRL Shift + is it on the numberpad?

I will have to try again with the DTG locos on AHS, but as I said I could not get the DTG Duplex to work with TVM on AHS . Neither could I get it to work with the DTG TVM equipped Class 395 Javelin. The two TVM systems (DTG/RSC and Henrion et terlor) are not "supposed" to be compatible, according to one of the designers of the AHS TVM system
"CTRL Shift + is it on the numberpad",.......... if you mean for the activation of the LZB on the ICE3 , yes. You press CTRL+ Shift together with the "plus on the numberpad" to toggle the LZB on and off. The blue light with a U and umlaut glows when it is on.
Actually the pml3 duplex is not too complicated when you get used to it. The loco has many realistc advantages. One is that the circuit breaker opens and closes automatically for catenary dead sections ( as in real life) and you have to have the correct pantograph and voltage selections for the type of line you are on. Driving is simplified greatly if you de-activate the KVB ( ctrl +F12 ) and the VACMA ( shift +K ), both of which clearly display their state on the annunciator panel. Plus the pantographs spark away merrily, unlike on the DTG version.

No, the Duplex.

My sincere apologies
I have just tried the DTG SNCF Duplex set on the AHS route again.
The M-A Manual states that "Ctrl+Numpad+" = "Toggle the TVM system" . If you do this when the train is stationary , nothing happens, if on the move you get " TVM locked whilst train is moving".
However , as you pointed out "Ctrl+Shift+Numpad+" does toggle the TVM system, which does indeed work on the AHS TVM signals. Fantastic !!!

. SNCF, Ouigo and Carmillon Duplex sets now able to run on this route !
Sorry for doubting you. It just shows that you can't always trust the manual !
This is very similar to the situation where Ctrl+Shift+Numpad+ toggles the LZB on the ICE3M and not Ctrl+Numpad+ as it states in the manual.
Apologies again and many thanks for finding this.

No probs, one would automatically doubt a pleb over the people that make a manual!
