I can see that I'm going to have to clone your NLL backdated route to 1986 onwards, Xavier, to run this NSE livery unit in an authentic era setting. :D

Cheerz. Transport Steve.
But Thumpers never ventured on to the North London Line?

I can't wait for SSS new Southampton - Bournemouth route comes out, then I can use it on that route, yes I know theoretically they weren't used on the direct route but I think they were used on the Castlemaine Corkscrew route from Bournemouth via Ringwood to Brockenhurst, mind they would have Green or Blue, but not Notwork Scudeast.

You could use the 205 on the Western Mainlines

I understand that but it was the point that Steve had talked about an authentic era setting, from which running a 205 over the NLL even in an NSE era incarnation is not totally authentic.
Of course that doesn't stop him from doing it but I wouldn't personally describe it as authentic. There are other routes that could be altered/backdated instead that would be more suited for those wishing to achieve an authentic setting.

It was the time period I was referring to, Xavier, NSE started on 10th June 1986, your NLL is dated 1985 and before, Broad Street station was formally closed on 30th June 1986, this could be used on the last workings of that era, realistically, as a substitute DMU, covering for a failure...... :D

In the Sim but not in real life - nobody would know the traction :)

Although having said that, a 205 has appeared on the Clapham Junction - Olympia shuttle, probably the closest you'll get apart from the 203 to Broad Street.

a demu was a regular on the early & late Kenny belles starting on the central side of CJ.then North London Line started their Flying meccano services from the far side of the CJ (plat 17 ??) to willesden...

quite a useful bit of kit was the MK1 DEMU,

I always felt the 210s were not given a fair crack of the whip, IF a proven PU like 4srkt had been untilised they could have been a successful fleet
