Available in the RSSLO store the Vectron AC/DC Advance locomotive at the price of 11.27 € → http://www.rsslo.com/product/vectron-br ... c-advance/
To use it is essential to own the other Vectron AC/DC.

I've purchased both products (including the advanced version).Still learning part of the available functions. Steep learning curve. Amazing package, going in the direction of virtual driver's cab. At the moment, the Railjet Taurus is more of my "cup of tea".

I'd seen the video's on their FB page but didn't realize it was a new product. Thought they were just work in progress videos on an update or were promoting the earlier one.

That said, is it worth getting the advanced version?

If you are fun of "knobology" then yes. If the level of accuracy up to lets say Railjet or vR BR120 then NO. If you want more than this level, including a passage o the secondond cabin via machine room and fully functional "dark and cold" startup procedure, then big YES.

And there was me thinking the Taurus Railjet and/or the vR offerings plus the TTB updates were head bangingly complicated.
Are there many scenarios featuring these sets before I dip my toe in the water?

From what I read on the German forums there are unlikely to be many, if any scenarios as it is believed that the same no re-skin policy is applicable to this upgrade as to the original release. Also quite a few of the normal scenario makers thought that the price was too high when you had to buy both add-ons.

I find the TGV Atlantique is the most complicated to operate (as in reality). I didn't found the proper way to deal with their "dead man pedal" VACMA system. On the Marseille to Avignon TGV Duplex' there is no detailed explanation how exactly deal with the VACMA. Maybe there is anybody who succeeded to drive this train with this device activated.
