New Nvidia drivers and Steam overlay

Hi all,

Got latest nVidia drivers a while ago and that has presumably broken the Steam overlay (Friends etc). Whenever someone enters a game or texts me while I'm playing TS2016, the whole screen just fades to black. Only cure is to minimize and restore... or simply sign off Steam. However, I want to chat with people while playing and it worked fine a few weeks ago, so...

Has anyone experienced this bug and maybe found a fix?

How sure are you that you do have the latest driver?........if you've had what you're using "for a while" the "latest" may not be the one you have.

Hm, latest drivers came out 2016.3.28, and these are the ones I've got. GeForce Experiance says no new drivers are available as well. Got a 970GTX.

Will try re-installing them at some point...Maybe im alone with this issue.

Why not simply go back to the previous set of drivers.
If they worked ok then it's an easy option.
