It's a separate route called "Whatley quarry", rather than scenery simply being added to the North Somerset Route. Hope that's of use.
Must actually finish creating a scenario one of these days...!?

Thanks,
That's what I thought it would be, but I don't see a separate "Whatley Quarry" route in my list.

I made a short test freeroam scenario with the "Whatley Quarry" route listed under the build tab but when I went back to look for the scenario in the Drive/freeroam menu it was listed under North Somerset Railway.

I don't have it (as I don't have the North Somerset Route either), but it appears that:

1. Though it is a separate "route" (i.e. different route number), it is called North Somerset Railway as it includes all of that as well - it is effectively "North Somerset Railway with Enhanced Scenery"

2. You don't see it in the other menus (until you created a Free Roam) as routes never show up until there is a scenario (of the relevant type) associated with it, and a user loco assigned

Thanks Chris that did the trick, I put in one of Roland's standard scenarios and then it showed up.

As I'm trying to keep the number of "duplicated" routes to a minimum can I add the "new" bits to the original route so I only need one ?

It is possible that there could be some conflict with the route numbers, but you could try! Just copy all the "quarry route" files into the "real" route folder. You can't do any harm as all the originals will be in the .ap file - don't delete that

If it doesn't work, just delete the copied files again to leave the .ap file alone. Or it may be that some judicious editing could resolve it.

Thanks Chris
I'll check which, if any, files have the route number within them and then give it a try.
It certainly worked with Great Western and Great Western to Swindon

I have just popped back to take a look at the posts and note there is some confusion as to which route Whatley Quarry actually is.
My version of Whatley Quarry is a modified version of the North Somerset Route. It differs only in the addition of Many Buildings, Track Markers, extra or swapped signals and lots of fences, grass, shrubs and trees as well as some re-texturing at the quarry itself. All of this is from the Junction to the quarry. The only other addition is two 3-aspect signals in either direction between the Junction and Frome Market Station.

The Finalized Route: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... /655204382 or it can be found in the Workshop, by simply typing in "Whatley Quarry".

The Whatley Quarry route number is: 7b95eff9-a9fc-430e-b860-2429ebc16618: Whatley Quarry (RolandBP) - The route number is different to that of "North Somerset".

Any scenarios I have done are Standard and can be found by typing in WQ Currently there are just 4, but more are in the pipeline. The 4 I have done do not require you to own "Stevens Pass", which is only needed for some wagon loaders I added to Loading Lanes 1, 3 and 4. The only track that was suitable for the Hatchet Hill Quarry loader, was Loading Lane 2.

I hope that is of some help.
Roland.
